Chapter 84 — Region of Frost XV: To Be Retrained
Zarracen wakes to the sound of wind howling again. The room is cold. The scent of mint and berries coming to her nose again. The iciness of the room affecting her senses as well. Her face contorts into a scowl. Irritation runs through her veins energizing her enough for her to sit up.
"Come out!" The order is said with such fury it could shake the walls.
"Stop ya hidin and come out!"
Seraphina does not appear. She does not expect her too. Zarracen from the clues she has gotten understands that the woman like could not appear before her unlike her ancestor.
Maia-Tiam on the other hand appears. A flickering of light around her as if the space itself bent for her to be seen. Fierce red eyes settle on her cold dark eyes. The old woman's imperious expression irritates Zarracen's soul. She can see it in her eyes the absoluteness.
