As shallow as a wave may be, It is said in legends that its effects on the sea never end. The waves created by a legend such as the pirate king Gol D. Roger, would be forever known as the beginning of the great pirate era. The time in which the dreams of those sailing on the seas shone with the brightest light.
But in recent times, another legend had subtly begun spreading waves.

Two silhouettes could be seen flickering across the trees of the forest, swiftly evading a set of traps and projectiles.

At another end of the island, a woman ran frantically in the direction of the beach together with a few of her goons, they were known across the small town as the 'bandits' and yet... their reputation preceded them.
"Good morning Dadan!" The folks greeted them like always but the woman looked so anxious that she transmitted the feeling, that something wasn't right.
"I don't have time for this, where is Garp?!"
"He was at the beach about half an hour ago, anything wrong?"
Before they received an answer, the bandits rushed to the beach where they found a single beach bed with a famous man resting on it lazily, taking the sun and wearing sunglasses.
"Oi Garp!"
*SNORE*
"Wake up geezer!".
*SLAP!*
She slapped his head with a sheet of paper and the old man came to life in utter alert.

"W-What?! what is it?!"
"Garp-san! Luffy and Sabo are trying to flee the island!" One of the goons commented and the marine's eyebrows raised exponentially before a subtle smile covered his face, 'So it is time... whatever... took them long enough'.
"What did you say!?"
"Yes, this morning we were having breakfast and then they read the newspapers and-"
*SNORE!*

"I TOLD YOU TO WAKE UP DAMN SENILE OLD FART! THERE IS SOMETHING ELSE YOU HAVE TO SEE!"
Garp groaned and rubber his head rather disheartened before taking the sheet of paper that the bandit Dadan had in her hands. It was a wanted poster with a face that brought him nostalgia.
'You have begun your own story... Roger, it is not in my hands anymore. Let the seas guide him, no... them'

He stood up ignoring the ramblings of Dadan and her subordinates, throwing the sheet of paper away.
"Wahahaha since it is time, someone has to go and make sure the brats are ready~"

A single kick to the air sent him flying at ridiculous speeds toward a particular location.

Each kick he delivered to the air felt like a thundering shockwave assaulting the town, he wasn't playing around. In no time he reached the northeastern shores of the beach of the Goa Kingdom where in the distance a small boat could be seen leaving the shore.

They didn't even need to see him, their minds rang alert at the sheer aura approaching—observation Haki.
"G-Geezer!? Weren't you knocked out?!"
"Get ready, Luffy!"
The vice admiral came crashing down with his fist ready to deliver love, a rumbling aura emerged and his fist got coated in a dense layer of Armament Haki.
Their plan had been thought through thoroughly, wait until the old fart goes to sleep... sadly, it didn't go as smoothly as they wanted but there was no other choice.
Two brothers grinned at one another and nodded, "Let's do it!".
Both of their arms were coated in armament Haki, the younger sibling out of the two took his thumb and blew into it, increasing its size exponentially... like rubber.
Garp witnessed the two in his incoming rampage, he recalled years of harsh training awaiting this moment. They were each supposed to sail when they were eighteen years old, this was the case for Sabo, but not Luffy.
Their oldest brother was already beginning to make his legend, they couldn't afford to waste any more time.
But there was a wall in between, the wall of reality.
"If you want to sail, get past me brats!"
*RUMBLE!*
The first one to charge was Luffy with his gigantic iron fist in tow.

The two fists collided and Garp felt astonished at the weight behind this strike, he had received it several times before but this time, the subtle red lightning waves released by it made him realise that Luffy was beginning to touch upon another level.
'Not bad...'

The second boy flickered next to him like thunder, for a second he saw the phantom haze of a white-haired dark-skinned boy.
He couldn't help but smile, expectant about the future.
'Nowadays there are a bunch of brats on the seas... doing the marines' job better than the marines themselves, I can't keep up. But... if there is anything I can still do, is to keep producing more of those powerful youngsters that shall change this era forever'.
"I'll allow the two of you to sail today... but not before I give you plenty of love to take on your way!"
"Who wants your love, geezer?!"
"Keep it for yourself!".

On the shores of a new peaceful island, an evildoer lay ashore. He just arrived after getting engulfed in a massive storm, what he didn't expect was to be received by a welcoming crowd ready to party. All of them shared many characteristics. They all had armour and they all had weapons.
"We have an invader!"
"I come in peace, take me to your leader".

The samurai looked at each other, not only did the man look like a hooligan, they also had no intention to take him to their shogun's presence.
"There is only one thing we require from foreigners to enter our territory illegally".
"Oh? And what is that?"
"Seppuku..."
"What's that? A meal? Sorry but I don't have this Seppuku you're talking about, just let me have something to eat and I'll be off real quick, a banana will do".
"You don't wish to commit Sepukku, not a problem... we will have to do it manually".

All the samurai unsheathed their swords... the young man didn't even know what he said to trigger them like this.
'Everything because I asked for a banana?!'
He sighed and his whole hand got engulfed in flames.

The more he heard them speak, the more he thought coming here wasn't a good idea.

Out of nowhere, subtle bangs began to resonate as the trees in the forest in the distance began to shiver, something massive was coming. The samurai themselves began sweating as the incoming creature approached. Then, from the deepest end of the forest, a gigantic blue ape appeared with somebody sitting on top of her.
'Is this the tribe leader or something?' He wondered, it was a beautiful woman with kimono, she had long silver hair with sky blue ends and a mask covering half of her face.
"It is the guardian".
"Yamato-sama".
All the samurai lowered their heads and allowed her in, she jumped from the gorilla and the young man gulped, things just went from bad to worse, or at least that's what he thought.
*GROWL*
"Don't worry, he's docile".
'Doesn't look like it!'
"My name is Yamato, I'm the protector of this island... tell me, who are you?"
"Portgas D. Ace... A pirate!"
"... pirate? I see and what do you want on our island?".
"I arrived by mistake in a storm, I just want a few bananas-"

"If you want bananas you will have to ask this big guy".
The gorilla stepped forward and Ace grinned.
"Just one big monkey, what's the worst that could happen?"

To his shock and disbelief, the Gorilla's arms got covered with Armament Haki.

A shockwave was released by its roar and it began hitting its chest over and over as if challenging Ace to have some 'fun'.
"Oi oi, you can't be serious. This Ape knows Haki?!"
"Well then... I'll leave the two of you. If you can beat him not only will I allow you on the island, I'll even give you a tour, Ace. How about that?"
"Sounds perfect! Is this your pet?"
"Hehe~ not at all... this is the lightning god's pet and is currently the strongest on this island, I haven't managed to beat it".
"... E-Eh? The Lightning God!? You mean Veyron? Is he in this island?!"
