Zhu Huan was blank for a moment before she finally remembered who this person was.
"You mean Aunt Zhao Shuhua from the orphanage kitchen?" Zhu Huan asked.
Wen Suihan nodded. "Yes."
"What happened to her?" Zhu Huan asked.
Wen Suihan didn't look at her. He said calmly, "She's dead. She died of poisoning."
The word "poisoning" really did shatter Zhu Huan's psychological defenses.
Zhu Huan's face was full of shock. "Poisoned? Why?"
Wen Suihan no longer intended to hide anything and said truthfully, "Because Jiang Jin's daughter and I once went to the orphanage to investigate your and Zhu Ying's background. On the third day after we showed up, Zhao Shuhua died of acute poisoning."
It was obvious that Zhu Huan had guessed something.
But she still refused to believe it, muttering to herself, "Could there have been some mistake? How could she have been poisoned…"
Wen Suihan cut her off. "You know why this happened, don't you?"
