"What's wrong, Bella?" Clarky noticed that Bella was lost in thought and asked curiously.
Bella came back to her senses and replied faintly, "Nothing, just feeling a little tired."
"You should rest if you're tired, Bella. Leave the work to me," Clarky said with concern.
Bella shook her head, "I'm not that fragile. Go take care of your work; I'll call you if I need anything."
As instructed, Clarky left the office.
Bella looked at the phone in front of her, suddenly wondering if her office phone had been tapped too?
The person who set up Jamison seemed to have powerful connections. Did that person already have control over her actions?
Her search for the handler was most likely noticed already, right?
In the end, her carelessness was a mistake, oversimplifying everything.
Thankfully, she came to her senses in time and discovered the issue, though the potential consequences were unimaginable.
