Early the next morning, the castle was already bustling with activity.
"Helen, hurry up! The Dinosaur Museum has been open for an hour already," Annie said, walking backward as she looked at the dawdling rabbit-eared girl and deer-eared girl.
The elementary school was closed today, so they had the day off. Helen took the opportunity to bring Hazel along to see the museum.
"Coming, coming!" Helen replied, leading Hazel by the hand as they approached.
In the castle today, everyone had gone out except for Mina, Elisa, and Lucas. They were all going to see the dinosaurs.
"Annie, you're in too much of a hurry. The museum isn't going anywhere," Nicole said gently. "Besides, we have special-access tickets." She, too, was very interested in the dinosaur that was over ten meters long.
"Me, in a hurry? Look! Amelia is already almost at the main gate," Annie said, turning to point at Amelia, who was leading the group.
How could Amelia not be in a hurry? The one she'd seen in the pit trap had been a Triceratops, and it was only five or six meters long. She'd heard this time there was a fossil over ten meters long. Just how huge would that be!
"Heehee..." Dahlia giggled, covering her mouth. She felt that being with this group was a lot of fun.
"Freya, do dragons really exist in this world?" Camilla asked, clutching her notebook as she walked beside the wolf-eared girl.
"Dragons? I suppose they might," Freya said uncertainly. She was thinking, if dinosaur fossils exist, then who knows if actual dragons do.
"Really?" Camilla's brown eyes lit up.
"Lord Lucas said they do," Freya added, raising an eyebrow.
"Wow, what do dragons even look like?" Camilla muttered to herself, wishing they were already at the museum.
The group headed out, met Gaba at the main gate, and walked toward the dinosaur museum together.
"Paper! Paper! Read all about it! The City Lord opened a new Dinosaur Museum today! Who wants to know what dragons from a hundred million years ago looked like?"
Newsboys weaved through the main avenue, shouting at the top of their lungs and drawing the attention of passersby. After all, dragons were the stuff of myths.
"Is this a joke?" Scott held a newspaper in one hand and a bun in the other. His face had gotten a bit chubby; he'd been eating too well lately.
"Guess we'll find out when we see it," Kevin mumbled, his mouth full of a large meat bun.
"Fine, let's go take a look." Scott started walking, glancing toward the castle. A lewd glint flashed in his eyes; those beastkin girls really were stunning.
"Stop staring. I have no desire to be locked up by the city guard," Kevin warned. The Fourth Prince hadn't arrived yet, so they didn't dare get too out of line. Their last experience was something they'd never forget.
"Hmph!" Scott snorted coldly, swung his arm, and strode toward the dinosaur museum.
"Well, well. If it isn't the Fourth Prince's two dogs," Raymond's mocking voice drifted over.
"You..." Scott and Kevin's faces turned ugly. They looked at Raymond, who was just walking out of a noodle shop, and fought the urge to curse him out. They just strode forward, ignoring him.
"Tsk... Overestimating themselves." Raymond sneered and walked on, clutching a newspaper. Just a gimmick to get attention.
"Dahlia, that group from before... should we find a chance to send them all to the 'little black room'?" Annie jutted her chin in Scott's direction and nudged Dahlia with her finger.
"Uh... that's... probably not a good idea, is it?" Dahlia froze, hesitating.
"Just say yes or no," Annie said with a sly smile. "These nobles really think they can just swallow Sedona City whole. It's time we taught them a lesson."
"Yes," Dahlia said, gritting her teeth. She hadn't forgotten their mockery. Women always hold a grudge, no matter how beautiful they are.
"Then leave it to me." Annie's brown eyes glittered. She waved the wolf-eared girl over and whispered instructions in her ear.
"Prin... ahem... Leave it to me," Freya quickly replied.
"Just don't cause too much trouble," Nicole reminded them with a smile.
She knew why the fox-eared girl was doing this. The Master was about to leave on a long trip. Now was the time to establish their authority. If they controlled the main troublemakers, Lucas's absence wouldn't cause any major issues.
"Will this cause problems?" Helen asked worriedly. She was afraid of causing trouble for the Lord.
"It's fine. I know my limits," Annie waved dismissively. "Those guys were disrespectful to the Master last time. This will just make them behave. Even if the Master found out, he would support me."
The group walked toward the dinosaur museum and soon saw a building with a large crowd lined up outside. That was it.
"Wow! That's so many people," Hazel gasped, covering her mouth.
"It looks like all the merchants and nobles came," Helen said, patting the deer-eared girl's head.
"Let's go in," Nicole said, leading the way. She had all the tickets.
At the museum entrance, the ox-horned girl Ayesha was maintaining order. Seeing Nicole and the others, she rolled her eyes. "You finally made it. I've been waiting for an hour."
"Ayesha, have you been inside yet?" Annie asked in her bright voice.
"Not yet. I was waiting for you," Ayesha shook her head. She had managed to restrain her curiosity.
"Ayesha, I need your help with something." Annie went over to the ox-horned girl, tugged on her leather armor to make her crouch down, and whispered in her ear.
"Okay, no problem! You can count on me!" Ayesha replied, patting her chest. The motion sent ripples across her enormous bust.
"..." Annie froze, her face darkening. She gritted her teeth and muttered inwardly, That damn cow, she did that on purpose.
"Let's go inside," Nicole said, handing the tickets to the soldier at the door. "Don't block the entrance," She called to the others.
The crowd alone showed how important the dinosaur museum was. A ticket cost five copper coins. While commoners might be reluctant to spend that, the nobles and merchants certainly weren't.
When they saw the dinosaur fossils, they would certainly be astonished and shocked. It was entirely possible some would become greedy. The soldiers were there to prevent any theft.
"Okay," The girls replied.
