As the chaos ensued outside, Tsukiya and Envy skittered as much as possible to the bottom layer of the kingdom, with Bronx taking the lead and readying his weapon for any invaders. One after another, the residents of Orochi came, each one trying to take apart the Castle. One was using explosives, another was creating constructs out of the stone walls and letting the holes cave in. They weren't going to just unleash the Mountain, but collapse the kingdom on itself. The two tried to see what would be available as an option, but with so many bodies and bombardment, there wasn't a proper opening. "We just need to hope we make it there in time before anyone else caves it further." Blunt, yet precise. Bronx's words would strike a chord onto Tsukiya, knowing fully well she wouldn't want to abandon such a palace if there's a way to keep it intact. The gaze they shared between each other was a silent argument, and yet the Kitsune knows she's dying on the wrong hill. Just as she was about to accept the downfall of Calibren, something was beginning to emerge. Out from the rubble, forged from the broken brickwork, two monsters were being seen.
One of them was the set of lines, a massive wave of them, branching and reaching, implanting themselves into the kingdom and acting as reinforcement. The second, however, was taking in the kingdom outright, a curvature that made it take its own gravitational pull, shifting the point and having them forced to be on its side. Life was growing from the holes, a blotch of ink with writing on its side: "Dyson Sphere." The beast within the Kingdom, dwelling deep in the mountain, began to roar, echoing and shaking the lands, both here and abroad, as the linework began to glow a deep, crimson red. The three were astonished at such a set-up, but a plucky voice was able to be picked up.
"GOTCHA!!! I knew this'd work!! I'M A GENIUS!!!" Harvard's voice echoed freely as he rushed to the area, catching the attention of the three almost immediately. He'd elaborate further as his friend caught up, with Zazel being the most tired. "I had to borrow a lot of energy from the bad guys outside, but by setting up Fusion, I was able to use Tierra and Kuro to make this Castle be a whole Dyson Sphere! Tierra turns whatever I cast it on into a living planet, down to the properties acting as its new biosphere! Kuro, well... you can literally see what he's doing." He'd gesture to the writing embedded into Tierra's body, making such a word become what IS on the target. The power over Names, to rewrite one and grant it both its property and whatever parts or physiology is tied towards it. "By writing 'Dyson Sphere', I can both protect us AND weaken whatever's down there so we don't have to worry about any further problems!"
"AND YOU DIDN'T THOUGHT OF THIS BEFORE BECAUSE???" Bronx was reasonably angered at seeing such a problem be whisked away by a combination, though it does leave the question as to why such linework is made.
"Well, to DO that, we'd need a LOT of energy. Kuro's Magic is kiiiinda tied to that depending on how strong or weak the name is. The whole Dyson thingy is-" Harvard's words were interrupted by Solomon's snap, letting him take over.
"I got it. Dyson Sphere's are, at most, imaginary. It's a machine built AROUND the star. To conjure up such a massive object like that, the energy cost it would take to make that name stick is exhausting. Fortunately, we have a whole army being thrown at us to mediate the price. The FULL thing, however, is thanks to Zazel with Eligos."
"Thanks.... by the way...." The Demon's voice was exacerbated, as Harvard was quick on casting Potion to help rejuvenate him.
"...With Harvard's other spell, Multiply, it would allow us to set up a gridwork to tether into the Kingdom down to the Man in the Mountain. It was NOT an easy process, if that's what you're asking. Having to dig deep with constant spamming of a spell and a Summon, over and over with no sign of rest until we get the energy back to us through the link, it's going to drive someone unconscious out the gate..."
"So... why the living lines, then?" Envy asked, to which Zazel was able to answer once he got back on his feet proper.
"Eligos is one of the only Demons imprinted as a proper glyph. Hieroglyphs, Geoglyphs, he's basically a living art piece on the wall. He'd be the closest thing we can have to wires if we restructure the lines differently. Once we reached to the bottom, Harvard would then set up his seals to connect it altogether."
"Waow... Well alright then! We don't need to worry about Oya-"
KA-BOOOOOM!!!
An explosion interrupts the Kitsune, a mad cackle as a man dashed forward, blade in tow, shining with the light in its golden color. The boys were quick to try and intercept it, but Envy was just as quick to push them aside, having them be forced to evade the lunatic. One swing, and it was enough to reach through the vacant hall, the markings and stonework lined with Gold in that one slash, quickly spreading and taking root in such beings. "PHEW!!! Man, that was a good warm-up!" He'd proudly declare, his voice recognizable for the descendants to run as fast as they can, with Bronx firing a gatling gun of bullets to ensure he'd be kept busy, watching as he'd deflect each and every one of them, letting them be absorbed into his cane. One swing, and he'd chuck every single bullet fired right back to sender, forcing Eligos to part somewhat and reach out, letting the walls bend and take the hit instead, the gold spreading further because of his magic.
Axel Broadway is here. A few stragglers are beginning to arrive.
