A morning that could not have been more normal,
Ray an above average looking boy and an asian american, but what do you expect from an Asian of course he is good in maths but not from Asian standards but from other countries and races .
"Damn, It is hot. As expected from a city that is not near the sea shore." Ray mumbled as though he had went to many such cities.
'Lets go get some fresh air. ' thought Ray while wearing flip flops.
"Hey Rein, wanna go for a walk together?"
Ray looked at his sister who looked sleepy.
Rein, with hair glistening a brown hue with the sun's ray illumination her blue eyes sheeplessly smiled.
They had known each other from the movement they became self aware of themselves.
"Yea, Lets go for a walk and also I don't know why but I am getting the feeling of being suffocated inside the house." Rein complained.
"Are you not feeling well, maybe we should give the doctor a visit." Ray with a worried face and a gaze of warmness radiating from him asked.
"No need, I will probably get better with some fresh air." Rein reassured.
"I guess if you don't want to go, there is nothing i can do,but tell me if it gets worse and we are rushing straight for an appointment." said Ray with a firm gaze.
"By the way, when you called Mom and Dad this morning, did they tell you when they will be coming back from their vacation." Ray with a feeling of remeberance and eyes longing.
"They did not specify but probably next week." Rein looked at Ray.'when will he finally notice my feelings' thought Rein
And yes, you thought right they were not related by blood with an age gap of just less than a year, Rein was from their mother's side while Ray was from their father's side. They had lost their Dad and Mom early, and looking at each other's troubles and the lack of a mother and father of their children, their parents decided to marry each other as they did not want their children to feel the absence of a father and a mother.
Just as Ray was leaving with his sister for a walk , he looked at a picture of their parents, Rein's mother, who looks gentle and kind while Ray's father is known for being a patient and brilliant thinker and although they were about to reach the age of 45, they looked and were as healthy and as young as 35 with not a single hint of wrinkles on Rein's mom and Ray's dad's head full of hair and two smiles that told the story of happiness directed at each other's company.
"Come on Brother, let's go during the early hours and not when the sun's rays are at their peak."said Rein while giving a hurried look at Ray.
"Yea let's go"said Ray who thought 'she is smart but quite clingy, well she would not care about her brother when she grows up so let's just enjoy her livelyness now.'
"Brother, hurry" said Rein with a mischievous smirk on her face.
"Wait wait, let me lock the front door first" said Ray with a helpless face.
And then they started walking out of the gates of their two storey house that had light brown paint painted.
"hmm, brother did you lock the backdoor?" Said Rein while trying to remember.
'oh no I totally forgot about it' thought Ray while saying to Rein,"uhhh I think I did"
"Hmph, you better did" said Rein with a glare.
And Just as they had taken half a walk around their neighborhood they saw a small cafe.
"Brother, come on let me get some choco chip ice cream" said Rein with a pleading puppy face that could melt anyone
"You know right you could have just asked me normally and i would buy it for you" said Ray with a face of helplessness
"Heh but whats the fun in that" said Rein with a mischievous smirk
--In the cafe--
They sat opposite to each other and just as they were about to call for a waitress.
"Hello sir what would like to eat?" said a waitress with a face that screams professionalism and a welcoming gaze
"Please give us two medium size ice creams."said Ray while thinking about the lack of manners in people nowadays and that kindness happens not from the other but from oneselves.
And the waitress had bought them their choco chip icecream.
And just as they were about to dig into their ice cream Rein said 'B-Brother is that an asteroid' pointing at the sky with a big blazing rock falling with a speed that is very fast even for an asteroid.
Ray was looking at it but then suddenly -----
