Jay Keane's words sent the entire conference room into an uproar.
"Who would be so despicable as to use such a shameless tactic!"
"There has to be a mole in the company. First our data was leaked and a client was poached, and now a listening device. One of our rivals has a spy in our midst!"
"Yes, that must be it. They've caused us so much trouble, we have to find this person! A scumbag like that couldn't make up for Aethel's losses even if they died ten thousand times!"
Everyone grew furious. When Aethel suffered, so did their own interests.
Aiden Sinclair sat in his chair, his gaze lowered to the listening device in his hand as a trace of bitterness crept into his heart.
'She lied to me again!'
