Kae eyelashes moved at the voice, slowly opening her eyes as the view of the dilapidated room came into view.
She sat up, her lips slightly pursed as she felt the hard futon on her butt. "..."
Clang.
Kae's head quietly tilted towards the door.
Another clanging sound once again sounded from outside, as Kae who was still sitting on her hard bed pursed her lips, her eyes flickered in thought.
She muttered a low sigh under her breath, standing up as she made her way outside.
Looking at the living room with no shadow in sight, her lips thinned, the opened window welcoming cold wind inside.
She stepped forward slowly towards the window, raising both arms to pull the battered curtain down, when a shadow loomed over her. Though, her pulling down the curtain didn't stop, even as she was hugged behind.
