"The heavens?"
The huntress said in confusion, as Magnolia continued to walk. He spoke again, a translucent barrier around him, which resembled a half circle.
"An offensive and defensive barrier." Magnolia says.
"Such mastery, for children. I'll admit, you must be at the middle stage of your contract, but you're forgetting one crucial detail. The girl helps you maintain that barrier, without her it's nothing!!!"
In lightning quick speeds the Huntress creates and shot a light arrow at Emma, said girl's energy was depleted from overusing her contract.
"This arrow's different, instead of exploding, the light arrow pierces anything in its way."
The Huntress thought, looking at the unprepared girl.
"For an adult and soldier, you lack critical thinking skills."
The huntress blood frozen and her eyes widened.
"How did you? "
The woman asked in confusion, she looked at the ground, then the girl who was perfectly fine. The arrow was stuck in place, light dancing among the dark sky.
"The arrow never hit its target and you thought just for a second that you've already won? Let me ask you, if that arrow were to hit, do you think you'd have enough time to shot another one before I would've killed you? "
The woman got so arrogant she forgot the most important part of a fight, never take your eyes off the enemy.
Magnolia's hand lit up, red like burning metal, he pulled back and drove it through the Huntresses back. There was no blood, only the scorching smell of it, the wound was cauterized and the woman dead, not even getting any lost words. The arrow faded into nothingness, dying with its owner.
"Emma, let's go-"
Magnolia didn't get to finish, three bodies chard and covered in lightning, burst through the clearing. A large man followed soon after. The smoke cleared and Magnolia saw a very large man wear a blue military uniform with golden arm guards and golden shoulder and knee guards. His short golden hair was blowing in the wind he created. The man looked around, his blue eyes scanning the surroundings until it landed on a figure.
"Selena….!?"
The man whispered, his voice shocked. The man moved in an instant, Magnolia looked to his side, shoulder to shoulder with the new man that appeared.
"Emma, take Kibo, Matthew and Valentine, and get out of here, I got this guy. Magnolia commands.
"Do you even care-?"
Emma said as she looked at Magnolia straight in his eyes, he returned the stare still side by side with the large man. Emma looked away, an unpleasant look found its way on her face, she then quickly lifted her three very injured comrades with the air.
"So, you're not going to stop her?"
Magnolia spoke, looking down at the large man who was kneeling in front of of the woman he had just dealt with.
"You'll be enough….child or not, I will mutilate you! But I gotta ask, were you just going to sit here and let me take action against her?"
Magnolia didn't respond, he still kept his eyes on the man.
"Quite heartless."
The man spoke, then faster than lightning the man rose up, his fist covered in pure lightning, going in for an instant death blow. Magnolia's body moved with the punch, dancing around it and jumping back. He then clicked his ear piece. After, his hand to became engulfed in flames.
"Flames?"
The man said in shock, he then composed himself and shot a bolt of lightning into the sky.
"Zeus."
Magnolia whispered. The man's hand again, became covered in blue lightning, matching Magnolias with different colors and elements.
"For this war, and the blood and pain you caused me, I will destroy you."
The man said rushing forward.
"I found you."
Magnolia rushed forward as well, meeting the man in the middle, their fist clashed, flames and lightning moving around them respectively.
The winners arrive at the arena and see poison fainted on the ground.
"Whats he's doing here?" Luna asks.
She begins to shake him vigorously until he wakes up poison sighs tiredly before opening his eyes and sees Amelia looking worried.
"What are you doing here? Poison asks Sous.
"I could say the same for you."
"I was scouting for the Pharaoh then I was chased, then fought off a platoon of Jerusalem men before arriving here." Poison explains, still regaining his breath.
Ren walks into the room leaning on a wall nearby himself.
"Cool story, but we have more important things to attend to. Ren says smugly.
Abraham appears into the area after helping Poison get up.
"Yeah, we do. The General wants us to help the other team within battle." Abraham tells everyone.
"I wonder how they are doing." Luna asks caring about the others still.
"They're probably dead by now, none of them are strong in any sense." Sofia says, having no hope for the others.
The general teleports within the room notices the surroundings then speaks up.
"trust me they are stronger than they seem. All of you are here, We will need to split up to accommodate for them dividing also. Poison, sous, and Sofia you guys are with me. Ren, Abraham and luna you three will be your own group for now."
The general creates a portal and as him and the victors walk through it they are now within a camp site in the desert miles, miles away from the arena. As they walk around they find unconscious greek soldiers.
"Looks like they were here, before I got that call from magnolia."
The general raises his hands into the air before walking in one direction then another.
"General, What are you doing?" Abraham asks confusingly.
"I sense Devine energy radiating from two locations. One 4 to 5 ticks southeast and one 9 ticks northeast."
"they're in two completely separate directions." Abraham says.
"Meaning that we will all be as far as possible from each other…" Sous makes obvious.
"Ren you and your group should head 9 ticks northeast. Everyone else follow me we will go the other way."
They follow the Generals order, soon enough they arrive and meet the losers who have been divided.
"Amelia, Valentina there you two are." Luna says.
"Abraham… what are you guys doing here?" Matthew asks confused.
"Helping you guys… Well we're supposed to at least but it seems you aren't in any danger yet. How are the others?"
"You mean magnolia and the rest? They went northeast to a unchancy posthumous Abraham tells them.
That idiot is dead by now, no doubt about it. Ren shrugs.
Magnolia was pushes back, he had lost the clash between fire and lightning, his body felt paralyzed from the man in front of him, the lightning sparked around the man, as he started walking towards Magnolia. His every step causing a small crater in the ground.
"I have to say, for a kid you are strong. All that potential wasted on a boy about to die, how sad. "
"The man said as he clinched his hand into a fist, he stopped in his tracks, just a few feet from Magnolia. The man pulled his arm back, all the lightning from his body condensed down to his pulled back arm, it turned sky blue in color, the lightning was so intense and condensed, Magnolia could literally see space bending around it. The large man whispered, as he drove his fist towards Magnolia."
Baron: Banished the Titan, Crush the rebellion….Master bolt…!
A lightning bolt. No, could it even be called that? Magnolia saw it, it's brilliant light making everything around it cease to exist, then it disappeared, like it was never created, like the attack was never launched.
"The hell?! I just saw it.?" Magnolia says, confused yet wary of the attack incoming.
The man was just standing there, he dusted off his clothing and turned his back. Walking away, his hard military boots crushing rubble.
"I'll tell the emperor that there was nothing left to bring back."
"Where the hell are you going?! You haven't one yet."
Magnolia yelled before he was hit by something, he flew back, his body seizing up in pain. Blood poured from his body and his bones were broken, some of which were even poking out his body.
The man continued walking, he heard his attack hit, he knew the boy was dead, very few could survive.
"Like I-I said.. You haven't one yet!"
Magnolia wheezed out, the blood in his mouth making it ungodly for him to talk. The man turned around, his eyes focused on the boy laid out on the ground, in an instant he appeared in front of Magnolia's body, shock expressed by his eyes.
"How did you survive? Master bolt was an attack that ignored distance."
Flames started to engulf Magnolia's body, the man seeing this grabbed Magnolia by the neck and poured lightning through him, simultaneously cauterizing Magnolia's wounds.
"I am Baron, you've earned that right to know my name. Death is better than being a prisoner of the emperor, I'm truly sorry, boy."
The now named Baron said, he pick Magnolia's unconscious body up and placed him on his shoulder. Before Baron could walked away a sword was buried in his side, blood poured out from the wound and Baron's mouth, he turned his head ever so slightly to see a man with crimson red hair.
"Put the vessel down." General saijew says.
