Kimimaro slowly walked towards his grandfather's friend house he watched the sun shining albeit not enough considering the early spring snow that still left scattered around him.
Soon he reached the door and slid it aside.
"Ooo Kimimaro-kun you are here." Majima greeted.
"So your grandfather roughed you up huh?"
"Yes Majima-sama" Kimimaro answered.
"Well, a flower on top of a snowy mountain is way beautiful than the countless flowers on the plains, right?" Majima said as he poured tea to himself and Kimimaro.
"Please sit and thank your grandfather for the vegetables." Kimimaro nodded and sat in front of Majima.
"Now in my humble age of 89 I learned quite a lot of what it really means to be a ninja, and I will try to share my wisdom with you, so most of our subjects that we are going to study is Math, angles, case studies, weaknesses and strengths of our allied clans and ofcorse our rivals."
"First we will start with our biggest rivals the Senju, and Uchiha. Do you know them?"
Yes, Majima- sama, I even fought one Uchiha couple months ago."
"Ooo tell me, how did it went?" Majima said as he smiled lightly.
"I was on Mission and they intercepted us, and I fought an Uchiha that is similar age of mine. We fought briefly with taijustsu but he gained distance and use katon against me." But after he got winded. I started to get closer on him and pinned him with bone bullets but he got rescued by the adult Uchiha." Kimimaro answered truthfully.
"Hmmm, so that's how it is. Good thing you won. The Uchiha was on trial, he would surely killed you, if he had the chance. And the adult Uchiha left you alive for a reason." Majima said.
He sipped a little of tea and continued.
"The reason that the adult Uchiha didn't kill you is because of the Uchiha kid. He wants to use you. Like a wheatstone." Majima said with a smile.
"How can he use me like that?"Kimimaro asked bewildered.
"Well, because you are probably his first defeat of someone his age. The Uchiha probably didn't even knew you well enough to assassinate you. After all, you are to weak to be in their vision of threats. So he left you alive for one reason only… and that's it to be remembered. You are that Uchiha biggest shame, you owned his life and because of that he will remember you for the rest of his life. You will be his motivation to strive forward."
Kimimaro hummed and got into thinking.
"You understand now, right?" Majima said.
"Well let's start with the Uchiha while we are at it. The Uchiha clan is as ancient as us they are. Quite formidable opponent, even the other clans have a saying about them. If you encounter an Uchiha, one should attack him at the back, while the other in the front, if you encounter him alone you should run as fast as you can. But I disagree with that. You should fight him the first time and run the second. Why? Because they adapt at frightening speed. You need to fight him in entirely different manner the second time because their biggest strength in my opinion is their eidetic memory. They see it once, they deconstruct it in smaller pieces and understand it. Therefore have a way of countering it. That's why they are dangerous. Only by overwhelming strength can you beat them consistently and most of the clans doesn't have that power, except couple of them ofcorse. But we will talk about them at later time." Now their biggest weaknesses we know that they have vast library out of katon jutsus therefore in the ninjutsu department their biggest counter is suiton. You know that the strength of fire cannot beat an equal force of water.
Raiton is a double age sword against katon. While stronger than fire it's weaker in the fact that is hardly controllable. Therefore most known jutsus with few exceptions have smaller attack range around them, but can pierce trough the fire. But what will happen with the rest of it? That is not a body to stab it and make it stop. It moves forward most katon jutsus are wide and hot and even, if you pierce them at the centre, the rest will continue. Therefore getting burned and placing yourself at a disadvantage. And that is quite literally unacceptable. Daton has equal range action like the fire, but it can only stop it, not win against it and the earth gets brittle easily, therefore crushed after it's met with fire. Only higher rank of power can make a fire jutsus weaker, thereafter unequal trade between the enemy and you. Which is unacceptable. And finally futon. The biggest friend of fire is oxygen. Futon is made by air therefore oxygen. You fuel the fire you. You don't put it out. Only by futon ability two or sometimes three ranks higher than the katon ability can it be put out. But that is unequal trade which as we said before, unacceptable. So by all that talking we understood that against fire only two elements can beat it. One created by nature to destroy almost everything and the other because it's fire natural counter. Remember that when you will inevitably clash against katon user." Majima said.
Kimimaro stood and quietly contemplated what he learned.
After a minute Majima continued again.
"Now let's talk about their mentality. Against young Uchiha your best bet is to play with their ego. Uchihas are prideful by nature that is one of their biggest strengths… but also their biggest weakness because pride often transitions into arrogance.
Every self respected ninja knows at least three taijutsu fighting styles. That doesn't mean that they are equal, but the said ninja at least has to have some base knowledge how to use them. So my biggest advice about Uchiha below twenty three is to start weak. Feed their ego with your weakness and when you see an opening BAM! Y ou stike like a snake! Killing them with one move. But remember that work once the second time it will not work. Those over twenty three, you need to fight them with everything you can. You can try the previous tactics but they've seen more therefore they can use your weaknesses against you and kill you because you didn't try enough. So I don't recommend it. Their second strength is their eyes, there's hardly any weakness about the sharingan, ofcorse there is one. They overrely on it so, if you fool their senses or you fight in the mist for example you will be at advantage or at least an equal ground against them. There's smoke bombs that can irritate the eyes. Get some when you fight dojutsu user it will make a difference I tell you. Now let's talk about their third strength, which is closely linked to the second their dojutsu. You have the byakugan so that doesn't concern you but is good to know. They can silently cast genjutsu with their eyes alone. Therefore ensnaring you at your own mind. So my best advice is to not look at their eyes directly because you can get ensnared. But because of your doujutsu you can fool the fool as I like to say. When you see that they cast genjutsu you make yourself like you got caught in it and when they try to finish you, you pull the rug under them and viciously counter attack. You will probably not kill them, but you will control the tempo of the fight and that place you at bigger advantage than before. So use it wisely." Majima said as he drank his tea.
