And not just your typical isekai in an unfamiliar world of magic.
I am very familiar with this world, atleast, the plot of this world. The big bad Kurama rampaging is a really good indicator of the world I am in.
I have been reincarnated into the world of Naruto.
And judging by the fact that I had to possess a cat near my spawn point instinctively, and the cat I am possessing is covered in my black gooey form with a white spider-symbol, I am a symbiote.
Well... it's not too bad.
Actually, it's great!
Apart from fuinjutsu, Sharingan and related dojutsus, and Byakugan which can discover my existence within people, I don't have any natural enemies.
Only Tayuya and Jiraiya's toads, and some Sound guy in the Chunin Exam are going to be a problem if I do have weakness to sound and fire.
Afterall, fire that doesn't hit isn't a weakness.
Anyway, putting aside that thought, I first retreated into the cat's body, controlling it to go into the forest for now.
I have to think about who to make my host.
Kushina who is about to die? No. I will just get sealed.
Actually, any ninja is a no go. I will be instantly discovered.
Someone from Uchiha clan? I don't want to be controlled by Sharingan.
Hinata? Going to a clan full of Byakugan users is just asking to be found out.
Ino? That clan has mind readers. Every reincarnator should avoid Yamanaka clan.
So, by the process of elimination, I think Sakura is the best choice.
Though Hinata has the third most potential after Naruto and Sasuke, Sakura in the actual story stomps Hinata.
And since Sakura is naturally very smart, and can be hardworking, I can take more backseat. She might even be able to use her future medical knowledge for me to become stronger.
And, with her not coming from a special background, I will have more freedom.
Logically, Sakura is the best choice for being my host.
It's not like I don't want to possess any guy. It's just that Sasuke and Naruto are no go for me. Kurama might actually be able to burn me with his corrosive chakra alone.
And they are too high profile. So it means just asking to get discovered.
After them, Sakura is the one with most potential.
I swear that's my only reasoning.

Having made my decision, I switched my host from a cat to an ant. Hmm, it seems like this one is the queen.
Cats are associated with the Uchiha clan, so there is a chance of getting discovered.
So, an ant is the best way to find Sakura.
I want to obtain the cells of Minato and Kushina. And get their brains to get their knowledge, if I can even do that.
But for now, approaching them is a bad idea.
Sighing, I commanded my ant army to follow me.
I need to find Sakura.

A day later, I looked over the crowd of people in black, mourning.
I held back my itch to infiltrate the coffins of Minato and Kushina.
Their coffins must have some sealing jutsu, right? Let's wait for a while, when the attention shifts away from them.
I started going through the back of the crowd, mainly consisting of genins and civilians, probably.
After an hour of waiting, I found a guy with pink hair and a weird hairstyle. He must be Sakura's father!
I waited for him to come back after paying his respects, and when he was heading back, using my current ant host, I slipped into his clothes.
Let's hope he really is Sakura's father...
"Mebuki, I am back."
He entered his home, and I saw an exhausted Mebuki looking over a sleeping Sakura.
Yes! Searching her was easier than expected!
"Kizashi...shhh... this troublemaker just slept..."
She whispered and got up from the bed, still looking at Sakura in her crib.
"I am going to the funeral now."
"Yeah... I think letting babies come wouldn't be a good idea. A woman's baby was crying loudly there."
"Her husband probably died..."
"Yeah..."
Sighing, Mebuki left, and Kizashi started watching over Sakura.
It seems like Sakura's house was largely unaffected by Kurama's attack.
Morning turned to night, and I waited until both of them went to sleep.
And finally, I left the ant queen's body and bonded with Sakura.
And by the time she started crying, I had already receeded into her skin.
Though I can't use a mouth right now, I sighed in relief in my mind.
I managed to find my host undetected.
Now, even if I am found out, a reason can be used that it might be a mutation or Kekkai Genkai.
Still, I need to atleast make sure that they don't find that I have extra memories that I shouldn't have.
For now, I guess I can rest for a while. I am feeling a little tired.
