When Wang Yue turned back around, Yang Cancan's eyes went wide. It felt as if the night itself had suddenly brightened. She couldn't help but lean in, her face barely half a foot from his, peering at him intensely. "Are you sure you're a boy?" she stammered.
"No kidding!" Wang Yue snapped, annoyed.
"But you're a guy! How can you be prettier than a woman?" she exclaimed.
"It's not 'pretty,' it's handsome!" Wang Yue corrected her.
"Okay, now I actually believe your mom was the greatest beauty in history." Yang Cancan sat back, a bit reluctantly, and suddenly burst out laughing. "And now I know why you call me 'Cousin.' Looking at that face, you haven't even grown up yet, have you, kiddo?"
"Who are you calling a kid? I'm sixteen!" Wang Yue retorted crossly.
"Such a shame you don't run a shop. With a face like that, you'd triple your foot traffic just by standing there," Yang Cancan said, her mind never straying far from the family business.
