At his level of skill, only the Golds or those at that level of skill could pose a challenge to him. The Golds had also consumed a lot of aether crystals for them to grow so strong, so fighting with Virion—who had consumed minimal crystals—probably had a different sort of excitement.
The Golds also weren't as harsh and ruthless as Virion was. With Virion, he could let go of all bloodthirstiness, allowing him to be as brutal as possible.
It seemed to be the same for his opponent.

His tone gave the impression of an adult referring to his troublesome and rebellious kid finding another kid to befriend, which amused Althea very much.
