The combination of different skills instantly killed the poor fox.
Aside from her Bullet Kick, she use her active skill Brilliance to layer in the damage of her abilities.
I also arrive and instantly use my 1st skill, Triple Stab on the nearest fox. It was hit two times before it reacted and jump to avoid my third attack.
'A chance' I thought as I use my second skill. One of the two cloth suddenly sneak below the fox's stomach, hit it hard and knocked it up.
Scorpion Hook - a powerful curve thrust attack with a high chance to knock back enemies. Attack damage: 130% of Physical Attack.
As I familiarized my second skill, knocking up enemies could give me more chances on attacking it.

We successfully killed two foxes in just a short time.
Suddenly, Chlea's Butterfly Wings shines brightly behind us. Small scales, like glitters, slowly spread from her.
'Butterfly Scales' Chlea muttered softly.
Butterfly Scales - emits small scales that spread slowly, silencing enemies around a certain radius.
Fortunately, she obtain a powerful utility skill as her second skill. However, this skill need her to be near on her opponents, giving them an opportunity to hurt her, or even kill her. Furthermore, if a beast's level were little higher than her, her skill duration would halves and if it is two level higher, it was ineffective.
A high risk, high reward skill.
As a low level beasts, their intelligence were not high as human, could not differentiate this lowkey skill. However, their instinct told them otherwise.
But it was too late!
Chlea successfully silence the remaining 10 foxes.
However, a beast is still a beast. Their physical body weren't affected. They bravely charge towards them.
But why they are still confident to win?
Because a physical brawl with these foxes are more easier than giving them an opportunity to use their own skill.

However, while Angel last kick approaching the 10th victim, a sudden fear envelope on her face. Without thinking too much, I saw her body instantly reacted and use Bullet Kick to escape the danger. Just a few breath away, a powerful fireball exploded on her location.
' What the!' We all reacted. Just a few meters near us, a larger red fox stood, eyeing us with menacing stare. A low growl could be heard from it.
'A Rank D beast!' I thought.
'You discovered a new Beast!' I suddenly heard the System Voice inside my head.
The devs wanted for adventurers to slowly discover the gameworld. Aside from a pitiful F and E rank common beasts, they did not give any list and information on what beast they could possibly encounter.
That's why beasts forum are very popular and a heated topic.
'You've discovered Rank D Three Tailed Fire Fox.'
'So you are an anime fan, Dev!' I suddenly thought.
Looking back on a huge fox, its three tail gracefully sway. Occasionally, little fire emits from its tail.
'What a cute fox', Chlea said above. For some Glass Cannon, she constantly use her 1st Kill on herself to avoid direct confrontation. From time to time, she check her surroundings to make sure she would not be attack.
And she failed this time.
Before the Three Tailed Fox glance above, a shooting fire ball rapidly approaches Chlea.
'Chlea!' We both shouted. Angel started to fly, but her speed is still slower than the fireball.
'Bang!'
Chlea's screams is mixed with the explosions. I want to fly towards them but I saw with my peripheral that the foxes suddenly conjure three flames. Gritting my teeth, I fly towards it and try to intercept using my skill.
Fortunately, I succeeded.
The fireball vanish while it jumps and avoid my Triple Stab.
Behind me, I could see Angel catches Chlea, and pour health potion on her mouth.
Chlea is in a miserable state but fortunately was not killed. Her skill effect is still there.
'Let me first handle this while you both withdraw. Angel, protect Chlea until she could use her skill,' I rapidly shout while defending
Angel do her battle stance while looking towards the three foxes while Chlea drinks mana potion.
Facing a Rank D Beast is troublesome. In our short exchange, I have been hit by its different attacks.
'What is this sh#t!' I exclaimed while experiencing intense pain from its claw attack. Everytime I was hit, an explosion follows. Even when my cloth successfully defended its attacks, a residual explosions hurt me. My life slowly chipped out.
In an exchange of a minute and a half, I've lost 40% of my life and I am in a critical 20% remaining health.
But this time, both Chlea and Angel take action. Although Chlea weren't totally fine, she rapidly flew towards me, behind Angel.
The two foxes (as the 3rd one is in the verge of death) tried to intercept them. But, Angel could not wait no more.
Bang! Kick! Kick!
All active skill were used.
The Three Tailed instinct warns it but refuses to run and admit defeat. It knows that the tree it treasured is the target of this three villains.
With a low howl, a sudden fire envelope its body, emitting high temperature.
But alas, Chlea use her Butterfly Scales and its skill vanish.
Without further ado, both me and Angel use our strongest combination to defeat it.
'Huff! Huff! Huff!' all of us simultaneously collapse on the ground.
'What the hell! It hurts like hell!' Chlea suddenly shouted. Lingering fear of death is still within her mind. Death weren't foreign on her. But the sensation of 'death' is extremely unpleasant and she doesn't want to experience it again.
Few more minutes passed and they just sat their and try to breath normally. Killing a beast higher than their level that successfully ambush them weren't easy.
'Angel, on the last few exchanges, do you felt an explosion on its attack?' I asked.
'I did not,'
'I knew it, a skill!' I said then asked 'What do you think, will you want to absorb its spirit?'
As she look towards the unconscious beast, her brows knitted a little. Absorbing spirit beast is an act of gaining skills.
'But, we have planned a different beast?'
'It is still your decisions. But when we fought, those exploding fire everytime her attack hits feels unique and special'
'Let's risk it!' She said after deliberating for a few minutes.
Then she suddenly sit it and close her eyes.
Devs depicted spirit absorption popular on fantasy novels.
Even I watched this process many times, my amazement is still their.
A few more breath, Angel's heels shines brightly. Ribbon-like aura emitted from her Spirit(heels), slowly approaching the Three Tailed Fox body. Like a pro fisherman, those ribbon suddenly hook the beast's spirit. Like a tug of war, both of them try to pull the spirit.
I could see its body trembling trying to fight, but for a few more seconds, Angel successfully grab its spirit. Like an elegant ribbon, it slowly circles around her and enters on her body.
Few more breaths and Angel open her eyes. What a beautiful eyes. There is a hint of red hues in it.
I coughed a little and said
'Congratulations on your 3rd skill.
She smile.
'What skill did you choose?' Chlea asked curiously.
She smile mysteriously.
'You would discover it if the time comes'
'Hmp! Your petty!'
Then we all laugh.
'Ting! You successfully complete the Mission!'
