"Arachet…" said a burly man maneuvering his lover with a slide of his arm, "…get behind me!" Snatching a dagger from his schenti the hazelnut toned man took a step forth. "They can't have you nor our son."
"Ohr I know you will protect us." spoke Arachet with dazzling eyes, before woom, a wave of dizziness hit her and the crackle and pop of her knees gave sign of her exhaustion. Hitting the white blanket of snow with a soft thud the words, "We…are…" escaped her lips between cold steamy breaths. "We…will…surpass."
"That is reality." spoke Ohr gently before putting a little more bass in his tone. "For our child will be strong and courageous as his zawa yet wise, kind and intentful as his marrubi."
Peering up at the cold fog a smile crept upon the Arachet's delicate vanilla face at the thought. "Our child will be a wonder to behold."
"Why don't you just hand me back what's rightfully mine." said a voice cutting through their moment and the white stillness of the day. "I might allow you to continue to breathe." Raising a torch to the sky, its light pierced through the veil. "But that bastard child will not see the light of day."
"She is not yours to own!" Shouted Ohr with a squeeze of his weapons handle. "And our child…" laughing almost maniacally the puffy haired man shook his head with a grin, "…will not only see the light, but will become it."
"Ha." bursting out in laughter their aggressor shook his head. "The only light that will be seen will be the one in my chambers when I'm properly consummating with Arachet in my name."
"She has freedoms of her own." Spoke Ohr with ferocity. "You nor her father has control of her fate."
"We will see who is in control." their pursuer hollered, drawing ever near. "And you will learn that your fate is what I make of it."
"Hmm" Materializing in the branches of an overshadowing tree a slender figure hidden under a cloak, sat down on one of many limbs spectating.
"You know the punishment for stealing one's property. Do you not?"
"She is not yours, Gard." hollered Ohr with rage and intensity. "The only thing that you own is yourself…" shaking his head he clenched his dagger even as the next words filled his mind, "…and according to your belly, you can't even maintain that." Gaining more of a glow in his eyes Ohr took a swift glance at his lover. "With that being said…what makes you believe that you could tend to an extravagant woman such as Arachet." Focusing on his breath as he spoke Ohr could feel an energy rise from within. "So let's make a deal. You find someone more worthy of your capabilities and leave us alone."
"You hear that he believes that my maintenance is not up to par." Spoke Gard to his companions. "I believe…" eerily turning his head in the direction of Ohr the hairy man gave him an evil smirk. "…that you will be in dire need of maintenance once we leave." Pointing at his target, Gard gave the command. "Tear him to shreds and allow the winter's night scavenge his body!"
Launching his dagger at the first person to run up, boop Ohr hit him dead in the forehead. "In the power of my words Gard Arachet will be leaving here!" Yanking a spear from his back a grin rose with the rotation of his weapon. "For it isn't I the winter is calling."
Foof! Popping up in an rivet of purple smoke the cloaked figure back stood against the mob. "It seems you are in need of assistance." Tilting his head observing Arachet he withdrew his hood."Your child nears death…" Raising a hand at the incoming attackers purple tendrils of smoke sprung out snatching them off their feet, holding them in the air. "…if he dies so will your concubine. Will you allow me to intervene?"
"Huh?" Stepping back in confusion Ohr gaze met Arachet's before they slid back to their guest. "Who are you?" he asked.
"I am Prime The Herit and I am an Arcadian. Procyonidae to be exact. I want to spare your child. His soul shines bright, his light deserves to be seen. Will you allow this to take place?"
Shaking from anger, confusion and the cold, Ohr asked, "How?"
"With both science and spirit of course. We Procyonidae are creatures of gnosis and hold knowledge that extend between both spiritual and physical."
"What do you mean?" Asked Ohr with a raise of brow and swift glances from his captive enemy and his saviour. "And how does it benefits you?
"I am a geneticist and my aim is merely to see the extent of life itself." Throwing his arms up in excitement The Herit laughed as he calmed himself. "All I ask of you is to bring life to your seed and allow it to blossom to its fullest extent. My intent is of pure curiousity and the well being of you, your mate, and your child. All i wish is to spread my light as you spoke of earlier." Taking another glance at Arachet, Prime eyes shown concern. "As i said, your lover light is dims so I ask, what is your choice?
Clenching his jaw, Ohr shouted. "Save them."
"As you wish." Prime said with a grin before transition into her Arcadian form which is that of Raccoon humanoid or what some would say a were-racoon. Giving Ohr one final illuminating smile the Procyonidae glid over to Arachet on blazing shadows. Peering down at the unconscious figure a racoon hand slid over The Herit's heart.
Gazing at the green light emanating from The Herit Ohr couldn't help but get lost in its beauty before drawing his head back in concern and interest at the golden staff with a heptahedron for a head sliding out of the Arcadian's chest. "Gonos Kuma" spoke the Prime.
Still absorbed by the glimmering light The Herit Cast Ohr's eyes grew even wider at the golden orange heptagram with six flower petals, three circles and a crescent moon emanating in the snow.
