Kotori, Shino & Miku: We're off!
Atsuo & Aiya: Bye~ have a safe trip!
With the Reconcilation Day finally arrived, Kotori had started walking to school with Shino and Miku very early and it still rather dark.
Atsuo: I wonder what made them want to go to school so early?
Aiya: Yeah they still haven't even finished their sandwiches too, and Kaneki is still asleep. Shouldn't we wake him up?
Atsuo: Nah, let's leave him be. He still has plenty of time for sleep.
Aiya: Okay then, well I'll get back to cooking then.
Atsuo: Just make sure to wrap Kotori's and Miku's food for later.
Aiya: Yes~
Atsuo: Hmm? I wonder why they decided to go to school so early? Well whatever it's good that they're taking their studies seriously.
Meanwhile~
Shino: Haa~! We're finally far away!
Miku: Was going to school very early really a good idea?
After the three had successfully gotten a bit far from their home, they proceeded with their plan.
Kotori: That's right, don't you remember our plan yesterday?
Flashback*
Kotori: Alright so the best time for us to go to school is 6:15 in the morning
During their talks regarding Reconcilation Day, Kotori has ultimately decided that they should carry out their plan very early in the morning.
Shino, Yuuka & Miku: WAIT THATS TOO EARLY!
Obviously Shino, Yuuka and Miku were against the idea of coming to Mato High so absurdly early.
Kotori: That's the point, listen, I've actually decided to write the Morse code directly into Kaneki-chan's shoe locker's walls.
Sachi: Wait why do that, Ai-chan?
Kotori: Well think about it, Kaneki-chan is more popular now and if someone puts a Morse code letter in his locker, anybody nearby might assume he is going to get confessed to.
All 5: Yeah? So?
Kotori: Soo~ What if someone see's Kaneki-chan read the letter out in the open? Some might question you girls and since you girls are in love with him are the most likely suspect, but since you'll all deny putting a letter in and Natsuki-chan obviously not knowing will also be curious and there might be a chance that she would spy on Kaneki-chan when he goes to the rooftop.
Yuuka: I see... So what you're saying engraving the message in his locker would be the safer option?
Kotori: Correct.
Shino: But why so early?
Kotori: C'mon it's quite obvious, wouldn't it be strange for the other students seeing me mess with Kaneki-chan's shoe locker?
All 5: Ahhh~
Flashback end*
Miku: I still don't get why we should go with you so early in the morning.
Kotori: Well~ I'll be honest I just want to walk to school with you girls alone.
Miku: This girl... Seriously...
Shino: It's alright Miku, beside there is some good with going to school so early.
Kotori: That's right! Because we'd be school before anyone else you three will have enough time to practice confronting Kaneki-chan.
Miku stared at the sky as she started letting out a big sigh before agreeing with what Kotori said.
Miku: Sigh~ Yeah fine, that does sounds like a good idea.
Kotori: Awesome! Now then let's meet up with Yuuka-chan at the coffee shop!
Miku: So we really need to go there? I don't even like coffee.
Kotori: They also serve hot chocolate so you don't need to worry about it.
Miku: Yay!
Shino: Let's go then.
The three then went to the coffee shop to meet up with Yuuka and to get some drinks before heading to Mato High.
40 Minutes later~
After meeting at the coffee shop.
Kotori was ordering their drinks as Shino, Yuuka and Miku waited beside a glass window.
Yuuka: Haa~ Man I still can't believe we actually had to go so early. Yawn~ I'm still a bit sleepy too.
Miku: Yeah, it really was too early for us to go to school this early.
Shino: We're way too ahead of schedule.
Miku: But even so, I'm glad we'll finally be able to apologize to Onii-chan for everything we did to him for a couple of months.
The moment Miku started talking about their apology to Kaneki, Shino and Yuuka smiled and shared their feelings about it as well.
Shino: Yeah. Once it's all said and done, we can put this all behind us.
Yuuka: Yeah. Though we have to apologize to Natsuki as well, but even though I'm nervous about her I think I'm ready to face her.
Shino: Agreed, Kaneki isn't the only one we've hurt after all.
Miku & Yuuka: That's right.
Since there was practically no one around or near them, they were able to talk without any worry of anyone over hearing them.
Wriggle~
All 3: Woah!
Kotori: Here's your drinks girls!
As they were chatting, Kotori had came to their table with their cups in hand and tentacles.
Kotori: Hot Chocolate with Marshmallows for Shino-chan and Miku-chan and Macha for Yuuka-chan.
All 3: Thank you.
After handing the three their cup, Kotori sat down with them and joined in their talk.
Kotori: Sip~ I couldn't help but overhear you three talk about today.
Miku: !!! We're we that loud?
Kotori: Nope, I just have better hearing.
Yuuka: Oh yeah, even though you are a Demon Knight you are still part Demon of sound.
Kotori: That's right, so I have sharper hearing and I can control it.
Miku: So you've decided to eavesdrop?
Kotori: Hehe~
Shino: Anyways, about entering the school, we'll have to sneak in without the security guards seeing us.
Kotori: That's not a problem, here take these.
Kotori took out three small pieces of paper from her pocket and gave one each to Shino, Yuuka and Miku.
All 3: These are?
Kotori: They are talismans, specifically made to make you three undetectable so you three can walk around freely.
Shino: I see, so once we've entered the school building we'll put these on our heads and make our way to the rooftop?
Kotori: That's right, and before we separate I'll give you three the spare key for the rooftop in case it's locked.
Miku: Good. But what about you Kotori-Oneechan?
Kotori: What about me?
Yuuka: Well you'll be directly in front of Kaneki's shoe locker- sip~ Haa~ so you'll be seen by security guards.
Kotori: Have you forgotten? I can move really fast and even control time like Kaneki-chan so I'll be safe.
Miku: Geez, if that was the case then why- Oh nevermind, you did say you wanted to hangout with us.
Kotori: Hehe~
The four then continued to talk for a bit until they eventually finished their drinks and they went straight to Mato High.
A little while later~
Yuuka: Alright we're here.
Shino, Yuuka and Miku had finally had arrived at Mato High's back gate, but Kotori was missing.
And it was her fault as well.
Miku: I can't believe she really dropped the keys.
A few minutes prior~
Kotori: Huh? WHERES THE KEEEEEYS?!
After the four had finished drinking and made it half way from the coffee shop to Mato High, Kotori had just realized by then that she had dropped the keys.
Kotori: OH NO I'VE DROPPED IT!!! YOU THREE GO ON AHEAD! I'LL MEET YOU AT SCHOOL!
SWOOSH~!
Present~
Remembering such a clumsy side of her, Shino couldn't help but start laughing.
Shino: Hahaha! Kotori-san is kind of a klutz huh?
Miku: Heh! You're totally right, Kotori-Oneechan also kinda reminds me of Sachi-Oneechan when we were younger.
They started talking about Sachi and other things to pass the time.
A few minutes later~
Shino: You and Kotori-san started watching horse racing?
Miku: Yup. We just saw it on T.v and started watching the races. Got to admit I kinda want to meet those racehorses myself.
???: GUUUUYS!
Yuuka: Oh look.
Kotori had finally arrived with the keys in hand.
Kotori: Haa~! Haa~! Finally I made it!
Yuuka: What took you so long?
Miku: Yeah? Did you drop the keys in drain or something?
Kotori: No... I just went on a detour, I helped out an old lady cross the streets.
Shino, Yuuka & Miku: Ohhh~
Shino, Yuuka and Miku nodded as they understood why Kotori did it and were proud of her actions.
Miku: Well that's understandable, so we'll forgive you.
Kotori was overjoyed that her friends and sister wasn't mad at her, and made a cute smile directed at them.
Kotori: Thank you guys! Anyways, you all have your talismans right?
Shino: Here.
Miku: Yup!
Yuuka: Got it.
Kotori: Be ready to put them on, now may you?
Miku: Oh yeah! Here you go.
Miku moved to the side so Kotori could open the gate.
Miku: Huh?
But after she moved to the side, she saw someone behind Shino and Yuuka staring at them and her from afar.
Shino, Yuuka: Miku?
Kotori: Is there something wrong?
Miku: There's some weird guy staring at us over there.
Miku pointed behind Shino and Yuuka, the two and Kotori looked at the direction she was pointing at but...
Shino: Umm...
Yuuka: What are we supposed to be looking at?
Kotori: There's no one there Miku.
When they turned there was no one there, and to her own surprise.
Miku: Huh? Where did that weird person go?
Even Miku no longer see's the strange person.
Kotori: Maybe you just saw a someone passing by Miku-chan.
Yuuka: Yeah, besides it's already unusual to see students come to school this early so it might just be someone curious.
Shino: Are you still sleepy Miku?
Miku: No I'm not sleepy anymore Shino-Oneeechan. Hmm~ Yeah it might've just been a curious passerby.
They dismissed it as just someone passing by.
Click!
Kotori: Okay the doors unlocked, put on your talismans.
With the gate now unlocked. Shino, Yuuka and Miku placed their talismans on their heads.
In an instant they were invisible to everyone else.
Kotori: Great job you three, now listen once we enter head straight to the rooftop and practice, got it?
Shino: We hear you!
Yuuka: Got it!
Miku: We already know.
Kotori: Alright! Let's head in!
Creak~
Kotori entered first, then followed by Shino and then Yuuka.
Miku: ... Stare~
But Miku didn't went in yet, she stared at the direction where she saw the strange person.
Shino: Miku!
But Shino's call to her snapped her back and she went inside.
Miku: Where's Kotori-Oneechan?
Miku was a little scared after such a strange encounter, so Kotori immediately disappearing made her a bit worried.
Yuuka: Don't worry she already heading her way to Kaneki's shoe locker.
Out of concern, Shino asked Miku why she was so worried.
Shino: Why are you so tensed Miku?
Miku: I don't know. I have this weird feeling and that person I saw earlier...
Yuuka: This again?
Upon hearing Miku mentioning the strange person she saw, the two let out a huge sigh.
Shino & Yuuka: Sigh~ This again?
Miku: I'm telling you two! There is something wrong!
The two didn't argue back, but instead reassured her.
Yuuka: Well if there is something wrong, we can just call for Kotori-san.
Shino: That's right, if there is someone stalking us Kotori-san is here to save us if we call for her.
Hearing the two say these reassuring words made Miku relaxed a bit.
Miku: Sigh~ Yeah you two are right, Kotori-Oneechan is here so we'll be safe.
And with that the three started heading to the rooftop.
Shino: Man I'm so nervous!
Yuuka: Same here!
On their way Shino and Yuuka expressed how they were both excited and nervous.
Miku's thoughts*
(This feels so strange, it feels like someone is watching us from behind)
But Miku still had this creepy feeling, as if she and the other two were being watched from behind.
Miku: Glance~
But when she turned around to look behind her.
(Nothing)
No one was there.
Miku: Sigh~ Yeah it definitely was just my lack of slee-
Chill~
Miku: !!!
But just then both of her arms felt cold.
(What was that?! Why did my hands felt so cold?!)
She turned towards Shino and Yuuka, but they didn't felt anything unusual.
(Seriously what's going on??? That chill just now... It was like someone was trying to stop me)
Miku didn't understand anything that was happening, so she got closer to Shino and Yuuka to feel a lot safer.
Meanwhile~
Kaneki, Natsuki, Sachi & Chikao: Mmm...
At the same time Kaneki, Natsuki, Sachi and Chikao were still sleeping in their beds in their respective homes, and they were having a very concerning nightmare.
