After the beach trip day had ended, normally everyone would have been relaxing and taking it easy the next day because of how exhausting it was having fun for an entire day.
But Kaneki was busy choosing what clothes to wear, with Miku helping him out.

But why exactly was he choosing clothes to wear?

Natsuki: Wow I'm surprisingly good at this.
Kaneki: Yeah and I have to admit these figures have some pretty good detail on them.
Natsuki: Right? And with us two assembling them these two will probably be completed before we get back to Shimotsuki.

With the successful beach trip coming to an end, Kaneki and Natsuki who were the only ones awake in KaneLiner were assembling Kaneki's model kit figures in the cab of KaneLiner heading back to Shimotsuki.
But after a few hours, Kaneki ha rmade an unexpected request.
Kaneki: Hey Natsuki you wanna go out tomorrow?
He wanted to go out with Natsuki.
Natsuki: Eh?! Really?!
Kaneki: Yup. Just the two of us, we could go out for a walk, eat out or even watch a movie.
Natsuki: R-Really? In that case let's invi-
Kaneki: No Natsuki... Kinda want to spend some time alone with you tomorrow.
Natsuki: Are you sure? I mean I know you love me, but wouldn't the others get jealous?
Kaneki: Sachi, Shino, Yuuka, Miku and Chi-chan will definitely understand.

Miku: Seriously though, I can't believe you actually asked Natsuki out on a date on your own Onii-chan.
Kaneki: Yeah same here, but this is quite good it has been a long time since me and Natsuki went out on our own. But I promise I'll go out with you if you want.

Kaneki was pushed out of his room by his own sister after she had gotten flustered by his promise to go out with her next.
Kaneki: Man... I still can't believe Miku is in love with me.
Kaneki couldn't help but be in disbelief that Miku, his own little step-sister was in love with him for a long time.
He was aware of her feelings for him all thanks to his Demon half, Azuna who was already aware of all the Higanbana girls feelings towards him.
And speaking of that Demon.
Azuna: Hehe~ I really am amazing huh? To make my friends fall in love with me.
He had took a bit of control.
Kaneki: Oi don't say stuff like that, you're making us sound like trash.
Azuna: Don't worry I'm obviously joking Me. Anyways i should get ready for our date with Natsuki.

Azuna then had relinquished control back to Kaneki and he headed straight to the bathroom to take a bath and eventually change into his outing clothes for his date with Natsuki.

Kaneki: Alright, done.
Now that Kaneki had finished taking a bath and changed into his casual clothes, Kaneki was about to leave to meet Natsuki at the park.
Aiya: Ohh~ Where are you going mister?
Before he could leave, his parents caught him outside the bathroom.
So he happily talked to them before he would leave.
Kaneki: Good morning Aiya-Mama, Good morning Papa.
Atsuo & Aiya: Good morning Kaneki.
Atsuo: Where are you going?
Kaneki: I'm going to meet up and go on an outing with Natsuki today.
Aiya: Ara~ Are you going on a date?
Kaneki: You could say that, yes.
His parent smiled with excitement after hearing that he was going on a date.
Atsuo: Hehe~ To think my son is already dating his friends.
Kaneki: Oh you're misunderstanding Papa, I'm not dating them yet.
Atsuo & Aiya: "Yet"
Kaneki: Yes. So this is just a casual outing.
Atsuo: Sure~ Well then. How much money do you need? Here I'll give you some.
Atsuo took out his wallet to give Kaneki money for his date with Natsuki, but Kaneki immediately went to stop him.
Kaneki: Papa you don't need to! I already have money with me look!
Kaneki took out his own wallet and showed him the amount of money he had.
Atsuo: Woah! That's a lot Kaneki.
Aiya: If I had to assume this was the money you earned on your missions right?
Kaneki: Yeah. Speaking of which I'm very sorry for hiding my secret missions from you two...
Aiya: It's alright Kaneki.
Atsuo: Yeah we understand why you hid everything you did to gain power in secret. And I do feel guilty for not realizing it sooner.

Hearing his father feeling guilty made Kaneki feel bad.
Atsuo: But it's alright now, you aren't going to hide anything anymore after all.
Kaneki: Y-Yeah... Well I'll be heading out now.

Kaneki turned around and headed downstairs while hiding his guilt ridden face from his parents.

As he made his way to the front door, he encountered his older sister, Kotori Ai Higanbana staring at him by the door.
Kaneki: Onee-chan?
Kotori: Nod~
She then gave him a nod that reassured him.
Kaneki: Thanks. Good luck in your part.
Kotori: Likewise my cute little brother, well then you better get going!
With that simple exchange done, Kaneki smiled and left the house.
Kaneki: Thanks. Well then I'm off!
And he headed straight to Shimotsuki park.

While Kaneki was on his date, Kotori had other plans.

Kaneki had arrived at one of Shimotsuki park's entrances and was about to go in.

When Kaneki had bumped into Natsuki who just arrived.
Natsuki: Good Morning Kaneki! You were quite early.

Kaneki: They look cute. Although they kinda make you look like a kid.

The two then entered the park and went for a walk while holding hands.
Natsukiv This feels really nice Kaneki, just the two of us walking around.

As the two were walking, Kaneki noticed the playground where he used to play in when he was in a kid.
Kaneki: Say Natsuki, I know we're a lot older now but... Do you wanna play in the playground?
He wanted to play there with Natsuki.
Natsuki: Sure! Anything is fine as long it's with you.

Kaneki felt so happy by Natsuki's words that his heart skipped a beat.

The two then went to the playground and began playing by the seesaw.
Kaneki: Wow this seesaw must be new, it's a lot bigger than from what I remember.
Natsuki: Yeah this one is made for both grown-ups and kids to use.

Natsuki's side rose up as she pushed them off the ground, and after she got up Kaneki did the same raising his side and making Natsuki's side go down.

The entire time the two were playing on the seesaw they just stared at each other with smiles on their faces the entire time.

After playing on the seesaw, the two were now playing on the swings.
Natsuki: That was so much fun Kaneki.
Kaneki: Yeah it was quite nostalgic too.
Natsuki: Really? Oh yeah this must've played here when you were a kid.
Kaneki: Yup! Man it's been so long since I've played here.
Natsuki: I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Kaneki: Likewise. Now then where should we go next? Hmm... Oh I know! You're probably thirsty so let's go get some lemonade.
Natsuki: Lemonade? Sure but I want it to have extra honey.
Kaneki: Deal. Now let's go get some.
The two then went to a nearby food stall that was in the middle of the park to get lemonade.

Natsuki: Sip~ Mmmh! Soo good!
Kaneki: Sip~ Yeah these lemonades are so good, although... Are you sure you're fine with that size?
Kaneki had gotten a regular sized lemonade while Natsuki gotten a jumbo sized lemonade which was the size of a pitcher.
Natsuki: Heh! It's alright besides even if I can't finish it now I can have more for later.
Kaneki: I see. Tell me if you want to store it, I don't want you carrying it the whole time.
Natsuki: Hehe~ Thanks. By the way you only gotten a normal lemonade right? Here have of my super sweet honey lemonade.
Kaneki: Are you sure?
Natsuki: Nod! Nod!
Seeing Natsuki wanting to share her lemonade with sparkling eyes, Kaneki couldn't help but accept it.
Kaneki: I-I'll take you up on that offer then.
Kaneki played his mouth on Natsuki's straw and began to sip from it.
Kaneki: Sip~ Gulp! Wow it's so sweet.
Natsuki: Right?! It's so good!
Kaneki: Yeah, it really was.

Natsuki was very overjoyed to share an indirect kiss with Kaneki, it was very obvious too.

Natsuki: Hehe~ Nothing it just feels romantic that I shared my drink with you.
Kaneki: Really? Hmm.
Kaneki briefly looked at his own lemonade cup and then offered Natsuki to drink from it with a smile on his face.
Kaneki: Here, you should drink from mine as well.
Natsuki: Blush~! W-What???
Natsuki's face turned red after Kaneki offered her his own lemonade, but knowing that she started it Natsuki hesitantly accepted.
Natsuki: T-Thanks.
She placed her mouth on his straw and began to sip from it.
Natsuki: Sip~ ...
After drinking a bit from his lemonade, Natsuki went quiet.
Kaneki: So? How does it taste?
Natsuki: It's the best...
Kaneki: Heh? But mine has less honey in it??? How does that even work?
Natsuki: Well... That's something you'll have to figure out yourself.
Kaneki: I see? Well what should we do now?
Natsuki: I don't know...

Kaneki and Natsuki then continued to walk until they got to one of Shimotsuki park's gate with no other destination in mind.
Kaneki: Man... I have no idea what to do now.
Natsuki: Sorry Kaneki...
Natsuki felt a bit guilty for not having anything in mind for their little date, and Kaneki immediately reassured her she was not at fault.
Kaneki: It's alright Natsuki, no need to blame yourself. I should be the one apologizing since I invited you with no plan at all.
Natsuki: Yeah... Thanks for the reassurance Kaneki. Is there even anything for us to do?
Kaneki: We could go watch a movie in the movie theater.
Natsuki: No, no. I don't like the movies being featured right now, none of them are really that interesting.
Just when they were both at a lost on what to do, a certain place came to Kaneki's mind.
Kaneki: Really? Hmm... Oh I have an idea!
Natsuki: You have a place in mind?
Kaneki: Yup! Akuma Castle!

It was Akuma Castle, it has already been two weeks since it had permanently been transported to the outskirts of Shimotsuki.
Kaneki placed his right hand behind his head as he embarrassingly explained why he thought of Akuma Castle.
Kaneki: Well to be honest I kinda forgot that it was now in the outskirts of Shimotsuki though and I kinda feel bad for not visiting it hehe~
Natsuki: Oh that's right, Akuma Castle is sentient because of its A.I.
Kaneki: Yeah and I feel bad for leaving her- no more like forgetting her for two weeks.
Natsuki: I see hehe~ although... Why do you call Akuma Castle a she?
Kaneki: Well the hologram "avatar" Akuma Castle's A.I used looked like a woman, so I think Akuma Castle see's itself as a woman so I want to respect it.
Natsuki: I see~ That's very good of you Kaneki, well it's decided then! Let's head to Akuma Castle.
Kaneki: Let's go! So you wanna ride me?
Natsuki: Hmm? Ride you?
Kaneki: Yeah! I'll turn to my Omegasaurus form and you ride on my back!
Natsuki realized what Kaneki meant after all, she did saw him transform to Omegasaurus before.
Natsuki: Oh yeah, you did turn to "Omegasaurus" during our sleepover at Shino's home. Hehe~ That sounds fun!
Seeing Natsuki's smile made Kaneki happy, so he asked one more time with excitement.
Kaneki: So? So? You wanna ride me?!.
Natsuki: Sure! I'll ride you!
Hearing Natsuki's answer filled Kaneki with excitement.
Kaneki: ALRIGHT! LET'S GOOOOOO!

Kaneki jumped high and with a loud explosion of smoke he transformed into Omegasaurus.
Kaneki: ROOOOOOAAAAAAAR!
With a loud roar Kaneki had finished transforming.
Natsuki: Woah~ you look so awesome Kaneki!
Seeing Kaneki take a huge and intimidating yet awesome form, Natsuki couldn't help but show her excitement.
???: Woah~! It's a Dragon!
Kaneki & Natsuki: Eh?
???: Woah~! Onee-chan is this your familiar?
Suddenly a group of children came up to Kaneki and Natsuki, and all of them were amazed by Kaneki.
Kaneki: Hey I'm not a familiar, I'm her friend.
???: Woah! It talked!
???: Why does Dragon-san sound familiar?
Kaneki knew these kids because he had played with them on rare occasions when he visited their kindergarten.
Since he likes these children, Kaneki looked at Natsuki and apologized because he wanted to play with them for a bit.
Kaneki: Hey Natsuki I'm sorry but I think we need to delay our trip to Akuma Castle.
Natsuki: I'm fine with it, you want to play with these kids right? I'll join in as well then.
Kaneki: Nice! Hey you kids! Don't you recognize me? We have played together before.

Kaneki and Natsuki played many games with the kids for an hour in the playground, Kaneki even turned into a few of his many forms to entertain the kids.

But their fun had to end eventually.

Kaneki: Yes we have some plans today, but we'll play together again next time.

Though the kids were a bit disappointed that Kaneki and Natsuki had to leave, they were very understanding and said their goodbye's to the two as they left.

???: Have fun on your date with your girlfriend!
But the moment one of them called Natsuki his girlfriend, Kaneki had gotten flustered.
Kaneki: We're not dating yet!
Natsuki: "Yet"
Facing Natsuki's teasing, Kaneki got a bit more flustered and couldn't face her.
Kaneki: Geez don't tease me Natsuki... C'mon let's go get a snack first before we head to Akuma Castle.
But very quickly he invited her to get a snack before they leave for Akuma Castle.
Natsuki: Sure!

Natsuki then got closer to Kaneki and grabbed onto his hand.
Natsuki: Let's go to a ramen shop, I know one that's nearby. We can even share a bowl!

And so their long date continues.

Chikao: Yup! I'm going to need to move some sports supplies tomorrow by lunch, so I can invite Natsuki to help me.
Sachi: And I'll be joining for safe measure.

With a flawless plan now set Shino, Yuuka and Miku are now ready.

Ready to apologize to Kaneki-chan and completely fix their relationship with him.
