The smoke cleared even more and I realized what had happened.

I couldn't help shaking my head with a bitter smile as I realized this, but I didn't really mind it.
This was a clear demonstration of the power behind this new method of attacking that I had found and it was a very good demonstration. This showed me just how much power I could get out of my own abilities.
It was much greater than anything that I had been able to do before this.
There was no doubt that this would be useful when fighting the forces of Destruction in the future. There was even a part of me that was looking forward to seeing how it would go the next time we clashed.
As for the reason I knew that the behemoth was dead, it was all because of the pile of loot that had dropped where the behemoth had been previously.
