"Chase him into that alley and we'll trap him."
I followed this order even though it would have been much easier for me to just use my water magic to take down the one that we were chasing.
After all, I was currently working as part of a team to chase down a criminal.
As for how I ended up in this situation…
"You really went to quite the dangerous place."
"Not to mention that you even brought our daughter along."
"I think this goes against what we discussed previously, right?"
When faced with my in laws going back and forth like this, there really wasn't anything for me to say. After all, what they were saying was true since I was the one that had gone against our agreement first.
But I really didn't have another chance to experience a gambling den like this.
Not to mention that I didn't expect things to go that far or for Ariel to bring the royal guards to look for me.
However, everything that I could have said would have just been an excuse.
