"Why would they even be drawn to a place like this?" I asked myself in a confused voice.
After all, it didn't make sense for these things to attack this place.
Even if this place was slowly recovering, it wasn't as if there was anything that was currently here worth attacking. The recovery process was still far from finished and the land itself wasn't filled with that much vitality.
Which was why it was a place that still had very poor resources and made no sense to attack.

The soldiers were doing their best to fight against these monsters, but it wasn't as if they were prepared to fight against them.
Just like everyone else, they didn't think that the corruption energy monsters would target this place. Which was why they didn't bring that many weapons that could be used to deal with them.
