Fisher hasn't faced too many life-or-death moments in the past; most of the time, things have been fairly safe and secure. There were only two occasions that could be considered truly dangerous.
One was in the Ideal Country, when confronting Margaret, who was confused by Chaos and attempted to awaken Death Authority; the other was in the Elf Capital on the Tree Continent, where they encountered Master Tao, one of the Third Son elves. The massive gap of the Nineteen Ranks almost obliterated Fisher in an instant, and he only managed to escape death with the assistance of Renie's Seal and Remiel's arrival.
So Fisher developed a deep impression of that elf with black hair wearing a ru skirt, especially after he learned about some things after the Mythical War, and acquired the Chaos manual she left behind...
But now, Fisher actually heard Master Tao's voice from Valentina.
