Indeed, as Elizabeth would visit Teresa for several consecutive years, if Fisher honestly tells her, "At least everything should be resolved after Helson's funeral," she would probably agree.
However, for some reason, when Fisher sees the white carriage below, he inexplicably feels a heart-palpitating sensation he has never felt from Elizabeth before. This feeling does not stem from the rank intensity but rather from psychology.
