Emhardt innocently nodded, then turned his head to look at Fisher at the door, giving him a sympathetic glance.
In the silence, it seemed like he said,
"Take care of yourself."
Afterward, he flew out of the room, heading towards another quiet place, not knowing where to rest.
Fisher raised an eyebrow, then helplessly walked into the room, closing the door behind him,
"Rafael, when did you return?"
Rafael's long ears twitched several times by her cheeks, and her emerald green eyes spun around Fisher for a couple of turns, not answering Fisher's question but instead asking,
"Did you rest at Moli's place last night?"
Fisher shook his head, denying it,
"How could I? Didn't we agree?"
Yes, indeed last night he didn't, it was yesterday afternoon...
But Moli sneaked over, and it probably had nothing to do with him... right?
Hearing Fisher's answer, Rafael's expression finally softened a bit, but still couldn't be considered "kind."
