Other groups would likely be supported by one or two people who would hold the group together and be responsible for most of their success, especially if there was a large gap in power, skill and experience between all of them.
Some groups would have limited things to use due to the resources they had and the type of things their group had available to learn from.
Not every group and its members would have the same opportunities in life.
There would be many who would not have had a good start as a Balancer.
They would not have been able to attend some form of school or church to learn what needed to be learned.
Some among them would not be so lucky to gain a form of inheritance that could be passed down within their family.
They would have to find their own way to cope with their situation until they found themselves being able to be accepted into a group.
