Hatt stood his ground, holding his spear firmly in his hand. He knew he had to fight to avenge his parents, no matter how strong Leo appeared to be.
"I may not be the strongest, but I have something that you don't," Hatt said, looking directly at Leo.
"What could that possibly be?" Leo replied, his eyes narrowing.
"I have the will to fight for what I believe in. I have the determination to protect those I love, even if it means putting my own life at risk," Hatt replied, his voice filled with conviction.
Leo paused, considering Hatt's words. He had never encountered a human with such spirit before.
"Very well, Hatt. I accept your challenge," Leo said, circling around Hatt.
Hatt remained still, watching Leo's every move. He knew he had to be quick and precise with his attacks. One wrong move could mean the end of his life.
Leo suddenly lunged at Hatt, his massive paw aiming for Hatt's head. Hatt dodged to the side, narrowly avoiding the attack. He then thrust his spear forward, aiming for Leo's heart.
Leo easily swatted the spear aside with his paw, and Hatt stumbled backwards.
"You'll have to do better than that, Hatt," Leo taunted.
Hatt took a deep breath and steadied himself. He couldn't afford to let fear cloud his mind. He had to stay focused and alert if he wanted to defeat Leo.
Hatt charged forward, feinting to the left and then striking with his spear to the right. Leo blocked the attack with his paw, but Hatt quickly followed up with a kick to Leo's stomach.
Leo staggered backwards, surprised by Hatt's agility. Hatt didn't give him a chance to recover, and he charged forward once again, thrusting his spear at Leo's chest.
This time, the spear hit its mark, piercing through Leo's thick fur and into his heart. Leo let out a roar of pain and collapsed to the ground, dead.
Leo's final words are "You will pay for this..."
Hatt stood there, panting heavily, his heart racing with adrenaline. He had done it. He had defeated the lion that had killed his parents.
"Finally it is over...I have avenge you Ma, Pa"
As Hatt lay dying on the dusty ground, his mind was filled with confusion and fear. He had thought he was doing the right thing by avenging his family, but now he realized that he had made a terrible mistake.
As his vision began to fade, he heard a voice calling out to him. It was a voice unlike any he had ever heard before, and it seemed to be coming from everywhere and nowhere at the same time.
"Hatt," the voice said. "You have angered me with your actions. I am the Goddess Clotho. You have taken the life of one of my sacred creatures, and for that, you must pay."
Hatt tried to speak, but his throat was too dry. He could feel the life draining from his body, and he knew that his time was running out.
"You will be cursed, Hatt," the voice continued. "Cursed to live your life over and over again, in different timelines and different worlds. You will remember everything that has happened to you, but you will never be able to escape your fate."
The weight of Clotho's words sank in, and he realized that his quest for revenge had come at a terrible cost. With his last remaining strength, Hatt tried to plead with the goddess to spare him, but he knew deep down that his fate had been sealed. As the darkness consumed him, he vowed to search every timeline and world until he found a way to lift the curse and make amends for his mistake. Clotho kills Hatt for the last time...
Hatt's eyes fluttered open, and he found himself in a strange place. The air was thick with mist, and he could barely see his own hand in front of his face. He sat up, wincing as his muscles protested the movement.
Looking around, he realized that he was in the middle of a dense forest. The trees towered above him, their branches reaching towards the sky. He had no idea how he had gotten here, or even where "here" was.
Hatt rubbed his eyes, trying to clear his head. He remembered dying, remembered the voice of the goddess Clotho cursing him to live his life over and over again. But now, he was alive again, in a world that was completely foreign to him.
He stumbled to his feet, his legs feeling weak and unsteady. As he took his first tentative steps, he realized that he was wearing strange clothes that he didn't recognize. His heart began to race as he realized that he had been reincarnated into a different body.
Hatt looked around, trying to get his bearings. He saw movement in the distance, and he cautiously made his way towards it. As he got closer, he saw a group of people gathered around a large fire.
They were all dressed in strange clothes and speaking a language that he didn't understand. Hatt tried to approach them, but they all seemed to ignore him, as if he wasn't even there.
Feeling frustrated and alone, Hatt retreated back into the shadows of the forest. He knew that he needed to find a way to break the curse that had been placed upon him, but he had no idea where to even begin.
As he sat in the darkness, Hatt realized that he would need to learn as much as he could about the worlds and timelines he would be reincarnated into. He would need to be patient, to gather knowledge and wisdom over countless lifetimes.
With a deep breath, Hatt closed his eyes and focused on his next steps. He would need to find a way to gain the attention of those around him, to make himself known and respected in a world that was completely unfamiliar to him. Only then would he be able to begin his journey towards breaking the curse and finally finding peace.
