The colossal blade of lightning in her grasp crackled with murderous intent, drawing the storm overhead into a furious vortex. Thunder rolled across the heavens as she raised the weapon above her head, ready to bring judgment down upon her younger brother.

The voice was quiet.
The temperature dropped. Shadows deepened beneath the trees. Even the wind surrendered, leaving the entire forest suspended in unnatural stillness.

The voice remained gentle. Almost soothing.
Ayu froze.
