"Mm, I know."
No one understood it better than he did.
His girl, the temper he'd spoiled into her since childhood, he'd be shouldering it for this entire lifetime.
"So I never planned on letting you go."
Lu Zhenzhen's heart lurched abruptly. "What did you say?"
Gao Zhe didn't answer her. Instead, he wrapped his arms around her and sat down in the driver's seat with her in his arms.
He held her knee, moved one of her legs over to the side of the seatbelt, making her face him and lie sitting on his lap.
Behind Lu Zhenzhen was the steering wheel. She bumped into it, her whole body jolting as if pricked all over, and sprang back, but right in front of her was the man's chest. His hands had her locked in tight. Lu Zhenzhen pressed down on his arm, lifted her head, her pupils shaking hard. "What are you doing? You plan to drive like this? If you want to die, why drag me down with you!"
"Relax, I drive very steadily."
As he spoke, Gao Zhe actually started the car.
