E/N: There was an error on my part. There is a slight change in story, there was no human in the rocker launcher, just a human-sized launcher. It seems there are a few inconsistencies here.

"Boom!!"
The rocket launcher unleashed a devastating barrage, triggering a violent explosion that engulfed the office in raging flames. Amick and his men were swallowed by the scorching fire before they even had a chance to shoot back. With Derrick's help, Mindy fired several more rockets at the office.
After finishing the job, Derrick and Mindy didn't stick around. They grabbed the bazooka, stuffed it into a large bag, and quickly left the rooftop.
"This is so cool! It's definitely the coolest thing I've ever done!" Mindy shouted excitedly as she ran, as though she'd discovered the entrance to an entirely new world.
In the past, she and Big Daddy had dealt with Amick's men one by one. It was like a level-based game: they had to clear each stage before reaching the final boss. But now Derrick had helped her skip all the minions and head straight for the final boss's lair.
However, she still couldn't help asking curiously, "Is this really an assassination? Why does it feel so weird?"
"What are you talking about? Of course it's an assassination. Did you see anyone survive? Or could someone discover our identities?"
"No..."
Mindy thought about it for a moment. Under the explosion just now, even the ceiling had nearly been blown apart, let alone Amick and his men. Their bones had probably been reduced to dust.
Derrick declared righteously, "Since nobody survived to discover our identities, have no doubt about it. This was a perfect assassination!"
"Ohh, so that's how it works! I get it now!"
When the two ran down the stairs and reached the bottom of the building, a distant wail of sirens reached their ears. Derrick calmly located the motorcycle he'd prepared earlier and climbed into the rider's seat.
Then he looked back at Mindy, who had settled into the passenger seat behind him.
"Hold on tight. I might go a little faster this time, so don't let go," Derrick kindly reminded her.
Mindy felt he was underestimating her and responded with complete confidence. "Don't underestimate me! If my legs weren't so short, I could ride a motorcycle myself. No matter how fast you go, you won't scare me."
"That's good to hear. After all, this is only my second time riding a motorcycle, so I'm bound to be a little nervous."
"Wait, what did you just say-"
Under Mindy's horrified gaze, Derrick suddenly twisted the throttle, and the motorcycle shot forward!
The engine roared fiercely as the buildings around them blurred past at an insane speed.
"Ahhhhh—!"
.
"Five million USD has been deposited into your account. The employer was very happy with your work and gave you a four-star rating."
At Sister Margaret's bar, Weasel transferred the reward into Derrick's account.
"Why only four stars? Shouldn't it be five?" Derrick complained.
"The employer said your driving skills were... too good, so they deducted one star."
Derrick was stunned but did not dwell on it.
Looking at the additional five million USD in his account, Derrick felt that he was a step closer to his goal of reaching fifty million USD.
Thinking of this, Derrick eagerly said, "Weasel, give me all the high-paying commissions in New York. I'm going to clear the entire city!"
"Wait a moment. Before that, there's something I need to tell you."
Weasel gestured toward the back with his eyes and said, "Someone over there says they're looking for you. You'd better go take a look."
"Looking for me?"
Derrick was a little surprised. Could his reputation as the top dog at Sister Margaret's bar have spread that quickly?
Without giving it much thought, Derrick picked up his favorite soda from the bar, turned around, and walked toward the corner to see who Weasel was talking about.
"We meet again, Father."
Hearing the familiar voice, Derrick realized it was Matt.
"It's you, Lawyer Murdock. I'm not working at the church today, so if you need to talk to me, you'll have to come back another time."
Matt's expression stiffened. Derrick's words brought back some very unpleasant memories.
Derrick asked curiously, "How did you find this place?"
"As long as you know where someone usually hangs out, finding them isn't difficult," Matt replied in a deep voice.
With his superhuman senses, locating someone was hardly a challenge. Without Derrick realizing it, Matt had secretly followed him and discovered this mercenary bar.
Taking a deep breath, Matt spoke with a serious expression. "Mr. Derrick, I already know your identity. So, you're a mercenary."
Having his identity exposed didn't faze Derrick. He replied solemnly, "Actually, being a priest is still my main job. The Lord gave everyone in the church a summer vacation, so I'm taking advantage of the break to earn some extra money as a part-time mercenary."
Matt didn't respond. He had no intention of believing that ridiculous story about a priest taking a summer job as a mercenary.
After a few seconds of silence, Matt suddenly said something that surprised Derrick.
"If you're a mercenary, I'd like to hire you for a job."
"You want to hire me?" Derrick raised an eyebrow. "Tell me what the job is first."
He'd learned to ask questions before accepting a job.
"I want you to help me rescue someone."
"Rescue someone?"
Derrick was taken aback. He hadn't expected that to be the job. He knew Matt wasn't an ordinary person. As Daredevil, Matt had faced countless criminals in Hell's Kitchen without backing down. So why did he suddenly need to hire someone to help him rescue a person?
Matt spoke with a complicated expression. "Yes, I need to save someone. She's a woman I'm very close to..."
"Oh, your mistress!" Derrick suddenly realized.
Matt choked on water. Once again, Derrick had left Matt struggling to keep his emotions in check.
The worst part was that Matt seemed to be getting used to it. He quickly continued, "We're very close. I mean, she was my—my girlfriend back in college..."
Fearing that Derrick would come up with another ridiculous description, Matt hurriedly clarified their relationship before continuing. "Not long ago, she suddenly showed up and asked me for help. I wasn't particularly happy with what she was doing, but when I heard it involved a gang, I agreed to help."
"But when we investigated further, we discovered that the gang was far more complicated than we had expected. It was full of fighters who'd received the most professional training..."
As he spoke, Matt frowned. He realized he'd probably said too much.
He'd already revealed everything he should have said, along with nearly everything he shouldn't have.
When he faced towards Derrick, he heard him sipping a soda, most probably wearing the expression of someone enjoying a good show.
Noticing that Matt had fallen silent, Derrick instinctively urged him on. "Go on! Why'd you stop? We're just getting to the exciting part. I'll have you know that cliffhangers cost extra."
Matt was speechless. He now felt that coming to Derrick had been a mistake.
