"Why?"

"He's worried Xiao En won't be able to accept it." Old Lady Li sighed, "I think his worry is somewhat excessive, yet I cannot ignore his feelings."
"Comrade Xiao, Xiao En is an open-minded child; there's no need for your concern at all." Kang Li focused on Xiao Shen. "You've been by Uncle Loh, Aunt, and Xiao En's side for years. Xiao En knows what kind of person you are and feels it in his heart; he won't reject you as his real dad."
Kang Li didn't randomly bring up the matter of Xiao En recognizing his biological father. Just recently, the young boy had come home from school and shared a secret with Kang Li.
