I've been gone for two years as the family is not doing well like I predicted.
Joseph and Alia are married as he got the powers he wanted but that meant nothing.
Because of the greed of humans, the society fought over the tablet as now it was sold through the black market as now I have it to drain it to be a ordinary rock.
My family lost much including influence as now there a shadow of there former selves as my sister blames me for everything.
My parents tried to find me but couldn't even with there vast network as now I'm in New York as I let them find me, now.
Knock! Knock!
I got up to answer the door as it was my mother.
"What is it?" (Elena)
"Elena, we need to talk." (Mother)
"We have nothing to talk about, I told you when I left that it was for good, look at my life now as I own the best private security company in the world." (Elena)
"Your family needs you!" (Mother)
I rolled my eyes to let her into my penthouse as we sat at the table as I poured her a cup of tea as I then sit down across from her.
"So, the family is doing terrible, who could have predicted that?" (Elena)
"I would like you to remove the glee from your voice." (Mom)
"I don't think I will, so let me guess, my sister and her little bitch of a husband are draining the family resources to keep her luxury, plus father is letting her spend like no tomorrow?" (Elena)
I saw her face as I hit the nail on the head.
"Well then, why don't you leave mother, that family has lost it's power as father is still clinging to the past which he thinks the family's former glory will magically come back, Sara is a lost cause she's delusional thinking she can do what she wants, her days are gonna be numbered soon." (Elena)
"Even if I left, where will I go, I was adopted and my parents wanted nothing to do with me." (Mother)
"Come stay with me, my company needs someone with your skills in managing it." (Elena)
My mom thought about it, I'm giving her a way out as my company is one that even most of the wealthy use as it's funded by me that even some of the society are my clients as they congratulated me on getting out before it got bad.
