Heading towards the cave, the inside was kinda dark making it hard to see how big it was or its condition because of the lack of light.
"This place is really dark" Mark commented going deeper and depper into the cave.
Picking up a tree bark he found in the ground he point it in front of Houndours mouth before ordering it to use ember without too much force just enough to give him some light.
Moving little by little with no encounter of pokemon whatsoever Mark is starting to think of heading back to the entrance and try to return in the river.
But before he even decide he finally reach the end of the cave only to find a remain of what seems to look like an adventurer in the clothes wear by the skeleton and a small shoulder bag.
Examining the skeleton closely it seems that it really was once an adventurer that die here for some reason.
which is certainly not a battle murder, Mark can tell its not that kind of death just by looking at the condition of the clothes and bones
looking once again at the book in the skeleton hand Mark slowly move his hand to take it to see what is written on this book.
The leather was at Good condition as if it was not affected by time at all giving Mark quite a surprise before opening it.
The content of the book is all about one pokemon the adventurer or maybe researcher is studying about which is surprisingly Mankey or primaly its evolution Primeape having another evolution that kill most of the Primeape before they can even achieve it.
The pokemon name is Annihilape, in what's written inside the book Primeape evolve to Annihilape when its anger rose beyond the critical point which kill many Primeape before and what's weird about those death is Primeape having a peaceful expression instead of it's usually angry one.
So as a adventurer/researcher he travel to Kanto to find out more about this species because it first appear in kanto.
And from what he discovered most of the Primeape have die to this scenario instead of evolving while some Primeape that is mostly found in the land of paldea
Most of those Primeape instead of dying releases themselves from the bounds of their physical body evolving to Annihilape.
And as a researcher he travel around all the regions looking for the key to make a smooth evolution to help and contribute to the world for 20 years until he finally found the answer.
A Technical Machine or TM of the move called Ragefist that can be learn by Primeapes in order for them to use their anger and rage energy as a source of power.
Is the key for Primeape successful evolution towards Annihilape, how you may ask? the Ragefist helps them control their rage increasing the chance of evolution and lowering the chance of death.
Because as they use the move it help the rage energy to be adapted by the body so when it reaches the peak the body would still be able to handle it before the Primeape leave its bound in the physical body.
The Annihilape is a Ghost and Fighting pokemon Ghost because of the death and its rebirth along with its original fighting type.
But before the researcher can even share his dicovered knowledge a pokemon war broke out sealing him into the cave until he died.
Mark closed the book before looking at the bag of the skeleton to found a TM with a name Ragefist in it and surprisingly Metal coat and a marble like rock.
"What luck a metal coat, this things are expensive the dead guy really help me a lot by giving me this thinking about the pokemon i would use when i get the identity of a trainer in Kanto that was for sure where we would be sent after the trials" Mark said being surprise about the metal coat he found.
"And what's the deal with this Rock i feel like it is something important but i doesn't look important, well I'll keep it since it wont do a single harm and like they said sometimes you can find treasure around trash" Mark thought looking at the weird rock he found along the other items in the bag.
Taking the stuff he ask Houndour to dig a hole to bury the body and paying his respect he left the cave without looking back.
People may call him crazy, ruthless, cruel, and demon but he still respect those people that are true to their passion with a will to accomplish it rather than run from it once he fail.
And whoever that skeleton was he earn his respect at doing something he feel he would never do, which is to help other people life in exchange of yours.
"What a coincidence when i just caught a quite good Mankey the heavens already gave me a good pokemon to add as the second member of the Rocket team" Mark said looking at the forest infront of the entrance of the cave.
'While i want a 4-star than a 3-star i doubt i would find a 4-star Mankey here because Houndour and the Magikarp in the river are two different case.
maybe they are the only 4-star pokemon here in the whole island, while there are maybe some chance there are other 4-stars because of how big the island was.
i don't i would be able to explore the whole island in just the 3 day time the Team Rocket has given us, so i would just keep this one maybe i would even found the method in how to improve a pokemons potential' Mark thought as he slowly walk back towards the direction of the river.
