Ronan Kendrick took the clothes and shoes he had packed over to Ethan Dawson and the others. Meanwhile, Evelyn Ford was in their tent arranging the mattress and bedding. They would be spending the night outside, so she had to make sure the tent was sturdy enough to withstand any fierce winds that might blow it down.
Lying in the tent, Evelyn Ford rested her head on her hands, contemplating which mountain to explore tomorrow. Their tent was on the very edge of the encampment, yet she could clearly hear people talking and walking by. And on top of that, there was the deafening sound of snoring.
It was already eleven at night, and everyone else had fallen asleep. Evelyn Ford took out her phone, admiring the photos and videos she'd taken over the past few days. She was so engrossed that she didn't even notice when Ronan Kendrick returned.
"Not sleepy yet?"
"I was waiting for you. Did you give them the stuff?"
"Yeah, I did."
