Evelyn Ford sensed the Hooper Family was waking up. She poked Ronan Kendrick's arm. Their eyes met, and they instantly knew what the other was thinking.
While inside their space, they had come up with many ways to deal with the family.
The two of them arrived in the mining area. Evelyn Ford looked at the members of the Hooper Family, who had wet themselves in fear, and curled her lip in disgust.
"I don't want to die! Help! What the hell is this place? Let us out! Somebody! Somebody, help…"
Evelyn Ford switched on a megaphone, aimed it at the group, and began to speak.
"Scream a little louder. I'm telling you, you can scream your lungs out and no one will come to save you."
The sudden blare of the megaphone sent the Hooper Family scattering like rats. When they saw Evelyn Ford and Ronan Kendrick, they assumed they were the kidnappers. The eldest son, who was Mr. Hooper's only surviving son and had the worst temper, started cursing.
