The long walk felt like forever, each step heavy with my growing nerves. Our footsteps echoed off the stone walls, making me even more on edge. Finally, we reached a small, damp room deep in the castle's basement. It was a place I had looked into but never had the chance to enter. As I stepped inside, I was hit by its medieval vibe—iron bars on the ceiling-high windows threw weird shadows on the cold, uneven floor, and the weak flicker of a single light barely lit up the place. The air was thick with the pungent smell of rotting wood, mingled with the musty scent of old stone, creating an atmosphere that was unsettling and strangely fascinating. Though no matter how fascinating I found it…this place was clearly bad news.
