Chapter 3 - Chapter Three

Your bedroom was dark and warm, the sound of the rotating fan filled the empty space as your legs were pushed part, Katsuki taking his place in-between them, nibbling down to your panty line sliding them off without hesitation, discarding them on the floor while getting to work.

You moaned feeling his tongue hovering over your clint, teasing, knowing you were a blushing mess above him. Katsuki's rough hands slide around your thighs, keeping you on display for him and only him.

Your body heated feeling him devour you, his tongue slides through your folds as his fingers slipped inside. Katsuki flickered his eyes to you, relishing the sight, hair splayed out, slightly disheveled as your heated moans filled the room. Katsuki adds another finger, your walls stretching and fluttering around them, slicking them with juices.

Katsuki moves to your mouth, his tongue invades quickly tasting every inch, leaving no surface explored. You break the sloppy wet kiss as your hands trail over his smooth tones skin, loving the feel of every defined curve, your fingers loop around the waistband of his sweatpants, the desire to feel him too intense.

Katsuki's eyes slammed open, he jolted away from your touch.

"Katsuki?" You opened your eyes, brows pulled together watching him get off the bed.

"I-I have to go."

"Go?" You dumfoundly repeated, watching him walk out of room. You blink, looking around the bedroom before grabbing his shirt and following him. "Where are you going?" You ask, watching him close the bathroom door. You went to follow but the door was locked; it was never locked; you gave a quick knock. "Katsuki?" You hummed, your core aching for his touch.

After what felt like hours, he walked out dressed in street clothes, confusing you further.

"Where are you going?" You repeated only to be met with the same:

"I have to go."

"Where!?" You followed him around the apartment, he grabbed his wallet, phone, keys then shoved shoes onto his feet. "Hey-!" You grabbed his arm before he could walk out the front door, you searched his face for answers. "-what the hell-?"

"I'll be back." Katsuki says, kissing the top of your head then taking the split second of you swirling in confusion to take his leave, closing the door behind him as he did so. You glanced around the empty apartment, confused and unsatisfied.

"What the hell just happened?"

----

"Are you ok?" Mina roughly sets the coffee mug on the counter, you look up from sitting at her table, lacing ribbon through ornaments.

"Uh-" Your eyes flicker around her empty apartment, the light scent of apple pie lingered in the air. "-yeah-?" You chuckle, "-why wouldn't I be?"

"Because you have barely said three words since you got here." Mina replied, joining you at the table, two steaming mugs in hand.

"I-" You exhaled, leaning against the chair, the fog of questions almost tipped you over. "-yeah, I'm good." You shook your head, not wanting to dull her holiday spirit.

"You're lying." Mina pointed out, getting better at reading you. "What aren't you telling me?"

"It's nothing-"

"Oh my God-!" Mina flew to her feet. "-you're really not ok, of course you wouldn't be! Why on earth would I have you come out and do labor literally a day after you were in a plane crash-!?"

"Mina I am fine." You laugh, "Really, I'm not hurt-" Mina snapped her head around, her eyes sharpened.

"You really need to stop minimizing what happened (y/n)." Mina placed her hands on the back of the open chair. "You were in a plane crash, it's ok to be hurt and need a few days off-"

"I know that." You nod, "If I wasn't ok, you think Katsuki would let me out of the apartment-?"

"Bakugo-" Mina deepened her glare, "-is that what's bothering you?"

"Mina-"

"If he is causing you trouble about coming over here, I will literally tare him a new asshole-!"

"It-" You sighed, picking up a new piece of ribbon and an unlaced ornament. Mina wanted to hang them from her ceiling. "-it's just..."

"What is it?" Mina retook her seat, "(y/n) you know you can tell me anything, you can talk to me about anything."

"I know." You nod, tying the shiny ribbon in place, keeping your gaze off the pinkette. "It's not that Katsuki fought me about coming over here..."

"Then what did he do...?" Mina didn't understand the issue.

"He wasn't even there." You sighed, dropping the project in your hands, leaning against the back rest.

"He wasn't..." Mina pinched her brows together. "...he wasn't home?"

"He left last night."

"Why?"

"I don't know!" You shrug, crossing your arms over your chest. "We were...then he just-"

"(y/n)-" Mina placed a hand on your elbow, "-slow down-" She giggled. "-I may be starting to speak (y/n) but I am still new at it, I'm not following you, start from the beginning, what happened?"

"I woke up in the middle of the night after getting home-" You lick your lips, "-Katsuki was up and we-" You rubbed the back of your neck. "-started to fool around but then he just...stopped."

"Stopped?" Mina frowned, she didn't know much about Katsuki and you in the bedroom, you weren't outspoken about your sex life, but she knew you two went at it like rabbits in heat. "That doesn't sound like either of you."

"Yeah." You nod, "He just...left."

"Wait-" Mina sat up, shaking her head. "-he left in the middle of you two getting it on!?"

"Yeah." You sighed. "He hasn't been home since, he won't answer his phone, his location has been turned off, this isn't like him."

"I'll say." Mina hummed, rubbing her chin. "I mean...this is Bakugo we are talking about; I am sure there is a reason, maybe he got pulled onto an assignment?"

"He isn't listed under any active assignment." You mutter, a pout resting on your face.

"You know how it goes, most times they don't update the app or even put it on there in order to protect the hero on the case."

"I know." You hum, but your gut was telling you something felt...off... "But he always tells me where he is going."

"Maybe this time he couldn't." Mina thumbed the rim of her mug; the thick cinnamon wafting off it burned her nose. "When it comes to you (y/n), Bakugo would do anything."

"He would tell me."

"I don't think this is something you should be concerned about. Bakugo is crazy about you, I'm sure he got a text or something summoning him and that's why he had to bolt the way he did."

"You're probably right." You murmured, but something inside you wouldn't let you believe her sweetened words. "Well-" You breathed, sitting up. "-enough about me, why isn't Kiri here helping you get ready for your party?"

"He's on patrol-" Mina waved her hand.

"Oh yeah-" You nod, forgetting this was the time your old shift was.

"Besides..." Mina slyly grinned, "...I need him to not be here for a few hours."

"Why?"

"Because..." Mina couldn't hide her giddiness. "...I am going to ask him to move in with me!"

"What?" Your lips parted in shock, "Really!?"

"Yeah!" Mina shakes her head, "I'm making this huge surprise, so it's good he isn't here right now."

"I'm so happy for you!"

"Thank you." Mina exhales, "If I am being honest, I'm a little nervous."

"Why are you nervous?" You flash a smile, making Mina's heart flutter. "Kiri is crazy about you-" You repeated her words, "-no way he's going to say no!"

"I know." Mina nods, "You're right, but that doesn't stop me from being nervous, what did you do when Bakugo asked you to move in with him?"

"He didn't really ask me." You hummed, a smile creeping onto your face recalling the last week at U.A. "He kind of...demanded I live with him."

"That sounds more like him." Mina laughed, remembering so clearly how disappointed she was when she found out you and Bakugo already had plans to move in with each other after graduation. She was hoping the two of you could be roommates for a couple years before Bakugo and you made that leap but...Bakugo wasn't the patient type.

The afternoon with Mina wrapped up warmly, the spiced cider she fed you eased your tense muscles and allowed you to forget about the pounding headache in the back of your head. After hours of helping Mina prepare for her party taking place in a few days, you took a taxi home with the plan of crashing hard on the couch.

----

Light ruffling stirred you from the blackened pit where you enjoyed most of your sleepless nights. You swallowed while you slowly surfaced, throat burning you slowly sat up, head spinning. The lights in the living room were dimmed,

A blanket covered your lower half, you recalled how you were too tired when you got home to get up and search one out.

"Katsuki." You murmured, rubbing the throbbing half of your skull. "When did you get home?" Looking out the window, it was pitch black the beautiful dead of night, this was the time you roamed the streets, and he was the one asleep.

"Did I wake you?" His rigid voice turned your head to the left.

The question went unanswered, he continued his path to the kitchen table where you shared so many wonderful meals with him, the sound of a zipper caused you to focus.

You stood, his black duffle bag in his hand—the one he used when sent out of town—you frowned.

"You don't have an assignment." You swallowed again, trying to find relief from the burning sensation coursing along the back of your throat. Giving up, you trotted towards the kitchen, ice cold water sounded like heaven right now.

"I know." Katsuki confirmed. "I just accepted one."

"Mm." Your sleepy brain so focused on the chilled liquid snuffing the burning from your throat. "Wait-" You turned from the sink. "-you accepted? What the hell you mean you accepted an assignment?"

Katsuki didn't answer, he kept his back facing you. Your eyes scanned his posture, the way his muscles were tense under his winter jacket, he kept his head low, his stiff movements around his own home, as if he was walking on eggshells.

"What about Mina and Kirishima's party-?" You asked, knowing he was given the next week off due to your incident, he demanded it, so why had he accepted a mission which would take him away from you? "-your best friend's party, he is going to notice you're not there."

"Kirishima will be fine." Katsuki grunted.

"Where were you yesterday?" You questioned, stepping closer to him but he countered with moving sideways, away from your outreached hand.

"I have to go." Katsuki turned, keeping his eyes glued to the front door.

"Katsuki!" You walked after him, grabbing him instantly noticing how his bicep was flexed, as if his guard was on high alert. "Why-?" The blond ripped his arm from between your fingers.

"I just told you I have to fucking go!"

"Fucking talk to me-!"

"You're fine (y/n)-" Katsuki snapped his head around, eyes narrowed on your face. "-you don't need me here babysitting you-"

"I never asked you too-"

"Then keep your nose out of my business-"

"Who the fuck do you think you are talking too!?" You bite, matching his glare.

Katsuki searched your face, his lips parted as if he wanted to say something, anything to ease the pained expression in those eyes he loved getting lost in, but he closed his mouth instead. He turned on his heel, never looking back as he left.

"What the fuck just happened?" You asked no one, looking around the empty home you built beside Katsuki.
