With a solemn expression, Selvariel said,
"I'm giving you one last warning."
"Abandon the gods if you wish to survive. If you continue to stand with them, not even I will be able to save you from what's coming."
"Very soon, the gods will fall, and their tyranny will finally come to an end."
The five angels stared at her in utter disbelief.
"The destruction of the gods?!" one of them shouted. "What nonsense are you talking about? Have you lost your mind during your disappearance?!"
"Do you even realize what you're saying?" another angel demanded. "You're telling us to betray our Lord!"
"In my eyes, that's an unforgivable sin."
"You're a Battle Angel, Lady Selvariel," a third angel said with undisguised disgust. "Those words should never have come from someone like you."
The remaining angels immediately grew vigilant and raised their weapons toward Selvariel.
