Evan Fairchild turned and walked to the car, instructing Tommy, "Take care of this."
"Yes, sir," Tommy replied respectfully.
Evan Fairchild pulled open the car door, sat in the driver's seat, and glanced back at the young woman in the back. She had already fallen asleep under his jacket.
He quickly started the car and drove away.
Only then did Tommy walk over to Keith Coleman.
"Quick! Help me up and take me to Caleb White's! President Fairchild was brutal today. I think I might be crippled!"
Tommy helped Keith Coleman up and shook his head. "After a beating like that, you think you'll finally learn your lesson? Spreading rumors about the boss, of all people."
"I... What did I even say? I drank too much, and then I got beaten up. My brain's not working right now."
"First, you took Mrs. Fairchild drinking. Second, you spread a rumor that the boss has a girlfriend, causing Mrs. Fairchild to misunderstand. And third, you called the boss a scumbag."
