Melody Monroe walked over and sat down across from Rose Shaw.
"Lately, I haven't picked out a suitable new project for you. I'm mainly worried about choosing the wrong one. I think we should wait for Warm Wind to premiere and see how the market reacts. What do you think of that plan?" Rose Shaw laid out the plan directly.
Melody looked at Rose, surprised that she was still arranging her work according to the original plan.
"Rose, that diamond necklace…"
"Was it from Evan Fairchild?"
Melody nodded. She didn't want to hide it from Rose; she knew Rose was a person of integrity and completely trustworthy.
"Rose, he's Ian's father."
A flicker of shock crossed Rose's eyes. "Are you sure?"
"Mm." Melody nodded.
Rose felt a warmth spread through her chest. Melody hadn't hidden such a huge secret from her, choosing instead to be completely honest.
