Rhona Hughes had gotten a manicure. In her nervousness just now, her nail scraped Raymond Ford's face, drawing a thin line of blood. She panicked at the sight.
"I'm sorry, Raymond, I didn't mean to!"
"Cut!" Director Wallace yelled, furious. "Rhona Hughes, what are you doing! The take was going so well! Why did you stop to apologize?!"
"Director, I hurt Raymond Ford's face!" Rhona Hughes immediately explained.
Director Wallace looked over at Raymond Ford and saw a small scratch.
Raymond Ford had felt something was wrong the moment he was struck. Hearing what Rhona Hughes said, the color drained from his face.
"A mirror! A mirror!"
Leah Young immediately brought a mirror over.
Raymond Ford snatched it from her. Looking at the scratch on his cheek, a venomous glint flashed in his eyes.
"Raymond, let's go get that treated. Thankfully the cut isn't deep, but it is bleeding," Leah Young said, pulling Raymond Ford aside.
They left without so much as a word to Director Wallace.
