He pondered the meaning behind these events.
A blurred projection of a human face appeared on the cover of the ancient book in Adam's hands.
His features were indistinct, yet unbelievably aged.
Only those eyes were truly unforgettable.
In the left eye, Light shone brilliantly; the right was dead and shrouded in Darkness.
"Be ready at all times. The moment may be upon us. One day, I will reclaim all that once belonged to me."
With these words, the projection upon the cover slowly faded away.
Adam placed the ancient book in the corner of the bookshelf.
"Alright."
This was a basic spell textbook of the Bright Faction.
Its name was the all-too-common Book of Light.
