"Assassination failed?" The youth raised an eyebrow, looking at Dirk Ridge with a half-smile. "Did you attempt the assassination?"
"No!"
Dirk Ridge was scared out of his wits.
But worried that showing fear might be seen as disrespectful, he forcefully held back his fear.
"I just... according to your request, attempted to take out her subordinates. But who knew those idiots would think of capturing the king before the thief."
Dirk Ridge stomps his foot helplessly, lamenting, "To be honest, my subordinates aren't that capable, and frankly neither am I. But rest assured, I will follow your instructions to make things clear!"
"It's good that you've come to this realization." The youth picked up a walnut, played with it in his hand, and turned to look out the window. "If she doesn't come within a day, I might have to go."
After speaking, the youth turned to Dirk Ridge, "I'm very confident in my abilities. So you go ahead and act, I only need a result."
