grey stared down the clone of his summoner's teacher enveloped in all blue primal color as water swirled around him keeping him afloat in the air with a board of floating water.
grey was surrounded by his soul energy flow reversal and a dark blue aura as he was running on sound itself dodging water bullets and slashes left and right in the air as the blue clone stared at the dodging rabbit lifelessly.
"I've read about your kind in the archives?''
the clone's serine and almost childlike voice contrasted with its fully grown appearance but something about the way the sound that came out of him just felt extremely wrong as if the sound that came out of him was hollow and lacking something important that grey couldn't understand at this moment.
''your kind are related to free and energetic air rune users but in the destructive and impulsive thunder rune form which is more powerful but also self-destructive, you will die out before my energy reserves are depleted surrender and your death will be painless.''
the clone stopped as if waiting for grey to just give up and die like it was the natural thing to do.
however grey didn't stop moving but instead moved faster and even used this chance to finally move in and attack the clone with a powered kick to the gut.
but to the great surprise of grey the moment his attack landed it was as if the clone's entire body was made of water that reformed immediately after
grey slowly looked up at the blue clone nervously ''SOOO about the offer? how about you surrender, and I just go on my merry way, and we all eat and forget this ever happened?''
grey gave a pleading look as a palm made of water quickly enlarged before slapping the poor rabbit into the ground below creating a massive crater. the blue clone slowly descended to check the status of his foe when suddenly a sonic screech assaulted his face popping it like a water ballon causing the body to fall onto land before his head reformed.
"WOW! this is the first time since I used this ability that it doesn't hurt? this flow reversal has the vibrations damage the energy outside of my body leaving me unaffected!''
at this realization greys hungry look quickly turned into a manic grin ''my power is either self-destructive or uses to much energy now tell me bright one? when someone like that has an elixir in their body constantly healing them and replenishing their energy reserves what happens to their PREY!''
a crazy red glow started pulsing in greys once yellow eyes as most of his fur turned dark blue with blood red streaks along it.
To the clones surprise a few sonic booms went off around as the rabbit disappeared into a speedy blur around him.
constant sound attacks hit the clone causing his body to ripple and explode repeatedly before reforming again.
for the first time since the battle started the clones face twisted from it resting emotionless state to pure panic as red cracks started forming on his body making it harder and harder to keep this going.
grey was running around as fast as he could almost like a speed junkie "hahahahhahahahhahahahhahahahhahaha!"
his crazy laugh seemed to echo throughout the whole kingdom causing more panic among the people evacuating

grey wasn't any better though some of his sound attacks and the water slashes from the clone hit their immediate area and a few even hit the warehouse where terra was healing sky luckily none of the girls were injured.
grey stopped realizing something dark ''I've become no better than the blood thirsty predators that attack without discrimination hurting stray creatures for petty ego.''
grey quickly took a few deep breaths before he dashed at the blue clone with anger in his bright red eyes.

at that exact moment he heard cries for help in the kingdom, and he transformed with an ant like exoskeleton and started multiplying making his own clones which all turned into small humanoid creatures with grey skin and long elf ears a wide face bright golden eyes. along his back was a scorpion tail while his body was covered in grey fur with exoskeleton plating in key areas.
grey looked at his small 3 feet tall clones that seemed more like deformed goblins in an oddly cute way
''help everyone!'' grey shouted
his clones quickly started running off in all directions to aid everyone he possibly could.
one clone tried to aid the stalemate between the angel of light and the red clone but was quickly burned alive before it could make a difference.
morning star used a beam cannon that ripped through the red clone's body.
unfortunately, the clone turned into an explosion of flames but quickly reformed as if his entire body was made of flames.
One clone found what was obviously a cow beast kin lady stuck under some debris of a broken building.
the poor cow kin was bleeding underneath with her black hair a mess draped over her face messily as she kept screaming for help.
greys clone started gently talking to the girl using his rune to instinctively soothing the girl's tension.
''It's ok we are here to help everyone just tell me your name?'' the clone made conversation as it started vibrating the hairs on its paw turning them all into mini jack hammers that dissolve the stone on her into dust slowly.
the girl coughed a bit before answering ''My name is Cassie... Cassie knights my brother was evacuating everyone, but I got lost and it just started raining fire from the sky.''
grey saw the girl bleeding but saw no visibly wounds that when the girl said ''some sort of stray attack of darkness hit me and my soul got damaged.''
grey thought a soul could be injured so he scanned her with many different frequencies until he finally saw what was a core that was the source of the energy that powered their runes, but this girl's soul was cracked and infected.
grey used his new blue form and sent blue energy into her that slowly healed the girl's soul and purified the darkness within.
"shhh, it's going to be alright.'' at that moment grey realized why the clones sounded so hollow to him they lack a soul
grey helped the poor girl up and his clone assisted the rest
when the blue clone behind his main body slowly got up and its head was reforming.
''Crap! so, you won't die, that just means I have to keep killing you, so you stay down.'' grey exclaimed in an exasperated manner
while three clones aided Quinn who was getting tossed around in his new body.
while grey was having a very easy time and morning stare was very even with foe Quinn on the other hand was a very hard time the electricity attacks of his demigod core was ineffective against this green clone whose body seemed to be made up of the earth itself and he few offensive quantum powers he had were also ineffective all he could do is keep breaking the clones body until someone came to his aid.
after a few minutes of Quinn being tossed around three strange creatures came to his aid and started destroying its body faster than the clone could rebuild it as red cracks quickly formed and two of the strange creatures started eating the green clone alive which seemed to slow down its strange healing process.
the remaining creature turned to Quinn ''It's me grey this is my clone I can have my clones keep eating the green and blue one while my other one helping everyone in the kingdom, but the queen needs your help. if the abyssal claw clones her too we will be in big trouble these clones are bad enough.''
''why me? Quinn asked confused
''My clones are all over the place scanning the area and from what I learned these clone have no soul but make up for it by connecting with nature but your attacks seem to affect the soul itself so if aid the queen whose fighting in the middle of the ocean and from what I heard your bodies new core originated from the ocean.''
Quinn quickly processed what grey said analyzed it and quickly disappeared in a blur of electricity to go aid the queen of ARS kingdom.
grey could feel the constant power up from his clones constantly eating the green and blue clones alive he could even feel the red energy in his body replenishing as it drained energy from the clones.
greys body was being overloaded with energy but thanks to him constantly making mini clones to spread out the energy overloading his body keeping all the clones in peak condition.
grey had a constant headache as he was connected to every clone that got hurt or died and his mind was being overloaded but being constantly healed due to the energy in his system keeping going.
lily looked at cortex who was operating several drones looking through some ruins and an abandoned lab until he found a glowing red book under some of the rubble but no matter how much they tried to pick up the book the drones hands kept going through the book as if it was made of air.
''let me try?" lily said as she formed a glyph in the air and opened a portal where the drone's camera was facing and her hand manage to actually touch the book when a golden energy hit the residual red energy in her body creating a small explosion.
the book disappeared and lily was sent flying into a wall as her eyes was glowing red and gold as she saw things.
in the next moment she was in a black empty space and ahead of her was the abyssal claw surrounded by an army of shadowy creatures.
she looked behind her as saw a few strange creatures that were very visible compared to the shadow army ahead.
next to her was a skeleton and a bright red rabbit along with a very large snake thing.
behind her was a grey fish lady almost mermaid like and next to her was golden ball with insect wings.
behind those figures was a white cat and a golden flame floating next to her
behind them was an odd toad phasing in and out of reality a blood red bird covered in black flames.
what was surprising was the massive blue skeleton standing in the back and an odd green moon with four insect legs next to it.
"Where am I? What is this place?''
she looked straight up and saw four massive pillars one was bright red the other was bright blue, but the white pillar was crumbled and in pieces while the final one was a deep black with white cracks
a serpentine figure came from the blue pillar with massive purple eyes that stared down lily.
"Fascinating, so one of Apo's creations made it here and see possible futures that looks very intriguing. hmm would you like to make a deal young one?''
