I toss my cell on the bed, a bit annoyed but also thrilled at what's about to happen.
An hour ago, I was heading outside to bring some food for Boots and Alfio who were guarding the front. The two somehow became sort of friends. I overheard Alfio telling the other that his Boss and the others were going to a strip club. I acted like I didn't hear them, even gave them a smile as I handed the food containers.
But while I did my chores around the house after putting Gianna to sleep, my mind was reeling at that bit of information. A strip club? Really?
I don't know what has been up with Giovanni today or this week. He's been busy every night, coming here late. I'm not one to ask him his whereabouts because I'm aware that there are things that he can't tell me. And I also don't want to know. It's best that I don't know.
But really? A friggin' strip club?
