The Gods weren't sure what they were expecting as they heard his words, but the sudden feeling of pressure on them was something that they didn't expect.
"Wh-What is this pressure!?" Many Gods cried out as they felt pressure on them.
"I am a God of Freshwater, so of course I have authority over pressure as well. Now show me how you fight." Abzu said with a grin as he looked at his pantheon.
Ki looked at her father nervously as she had erected a barrier to protect the support Gods, while the combat Gods were given help by Anu as they were protected by his power.
Marduk and the other main Gods used their own powers to resist the pressure as they were strong enough.
'Hardships are needed to get stronger after all.' Abzu thought to himself as he smiled.
Ishtar gathered her energy and shot it right at the Primordial, but Abzu blocked it, Shamash and Nergal also attacked together but it was also blocked. Ereshkigal used her energy to attack as well, but it didn't work all the same as Abzu used his sword to take care of it.
Enlil and Marduk attacked together, the former holding his own axe as the two Gods charged at the Primordial as Abzu had blocked the attacks from the other Gods as the two charges their weapons and striked, but Abzu made barriers which managed to stall the two as the barriers were destroyed. Ki and the rest of the supportive Gods and Goddesses enhanced the two as they attacked again from both sides.
Abzu used his sword to block Marduk's axes, while he used his right index claw to block Enlil's axe as it caused shockwaves to form from the powerful attacks as the dimension was damaged, the only reason it wasn't destroyed outright from all the fighting was because most of the energy and damage is taken by Abzu, and he was also maintaining the dimension as well.
Then he was bombarded by swaths of attacks from the other Gods, and these ones were packed with more power, as they managed to break through his barriers and hit him as he grunted in response and flung the two Gods beside him away before he used his sword to protect himself.
Abzu looked at himself and saw that many of his scales had been broken and damaged as they had been blackened by the attacks as he grunted softly as his body had been damaged from the attacks, and it was about time that these younglings did.
'If they thought that I was easier to deal with than Tiamat, then they were wrong.' Abzu thought to himself with a bit of amusement.
But then he looked up and saw Ishtar floating above his head, a grin on her face as she raised her right hand, and the very next moment, the planet Dilbat (Venus) appeared above her head as Abzu grinned slightly in response.
'Finally, using your own concepts now.' Abzu thought to himself as he saw that.
There was a reason many of the powerful Gods had some ties to planetary concepts as their domains, which also made them stand out and be more unique as well. Admittedly, they are still young as are the rest of the Gods of the other pantheons, and if he were to guess, using such an attack would be quite draining on her as well.
"I see. You plan to take me down here and now." Abzu said as he looked at the other Gods.
Shamash had called upon the concept of the Sun, Ereshkigal of the Underworld, Nergal of Salbatanu (Mars) and Death, Enlil gathered the authority of Storms and the sky with Marduk doing much the same as they called upon their greatest powers and domains.
'Ah, I was wondering where he was.' Abzu looked down and saw Enki also glowing with his power, who was named after his own parent.
Anu and Ki were also ready to attack and the other deities gave them support as they boosted the main attackers as Abzu looked at them all.
'Heh, now this, this has the potential to actually kill me.' Abzu thought to himself as his eyes glowed.
"Come at me with all you have if you dare dream of killing me." Abzu said with confidence and arrogance while sporting a grin.
Both of which had pissed off the more arrogant Gods, something that he had wanted to happen as he smiled at their aggression. He was covered in his divine power as he was ready to receive their attacks while preparing his own, though he is quite certain that they will be able to push through his attack, what with their numbers and the Gods that are currently attacking, though a part of him was quite eager to experience it.
Ishtar channeled the planet's concept into a small orb which was ready to be fired, in the same way that the rest of the Gods also materialized their concepts and concentrated them while aiming it at the Primordial.
Abzu stabbed his sword on his magic circle that appeared under him and several others formed around him and shot attacks at the various main deities. But they weren't about to just take the attacks from the Primordial as they were all ready with their own attacks.
"As if that is going to work!" Ishtar shouted as she shot a beam.
"This will be interesting." Ereshkigal muttered before she roared and shot her own energy attack.
"Now let's see what you can do." Nergal grinned as he attacked.
"Hope this works." Shamash muttered as he gave him all for the attack.
The other Gods also shot their attacks, their own attacks overpowering the numerous beams that Abzu had used, as the Primordial watched as the power of his descendants cleaved through his own attacks and neared him. He immediately erected barriers around him just as the attacks reached him, and the follow-up explosion completely engulfed him completely.
The collision of divine powers from multiple powerhouses together was too much for the dimension, as the resulting explosion completely engulfed Abzu and expanded like a orb as the other Gods immediately put up barriers around themselves.
Abzu send his sword away as he gathered his power around himself to block the combined attacks of his children as his earlier barrier was fully destroyed from the attack as he was blinded by the light and power of the attacks as he was engulfed by it.
The dimension collapsed after a few seconds as the combined energy was too much for it to contain, as it broke apart and the deities were blinded by the explosion of divine might as many screamed from the sheer force released from the combined attack, as Anu, Ki and the other Gods well versed in barriers created another to contain the explosion.
After all, if such power were felt by the other pantheons, then things might become precarious for them, especially due to how they had just fought their progenitor and the man deities had used their strongest attacks.
But soon the area where Abzu was floating is revealed, and the eyes of the Gods widened as they saw the Primordial still there, but now heavily injured as he drew his heavy breaths.
'Well, that went as well as I expected.' Abzu thought to himself as he looked at himself.
Chunks of his body was missing, his right leg had been completely taken off while his left was almost gone, his stomach and torso sustained heavy damage and losing a lot of it, with arms had also gotten damaged, though his left hand was destroyed save for some parts near his shoulder while his right was mostly fine. His head also sustained injuries, but his bad had also gotten great damage as his scales were gone and flesh was charred from the attacks. The scales from all around his body were also mostly missing as they were destroyed by the attack.
"He survived." Ereshkigal said in surprise.
After all, she along with the rest of the top deities of their pantheon had attacked him with their strongest attacks, and yet the Primordial is still standing, heavily injured sure, but he was still alive and standing, and if the grin she can see on his face is anything to go by, then he hasn't been defeated as well.
"If that was enough to kill me, then I wouldn't have been a Primordial now would I." Abzu said with a grin as he chuckled in amusement.
"Oh I can correct that." Marduk said as he channeled his axes with his power.
"Do your worst BOY!" Abzu said, purposefully using "boy" to make the God more angry.
Marduk was obviously angry at that as he roared and charged at the Primordial, intent on severing the head from the body and claiming his kill so that he can cement his feat and position as a great God. The smirk on Abzu's face as he charged at him only further infuriated him.
'Ahahaha! He is too easy.' Abzu thought to himself with a smirk.
A/N: Finally an actual new chapter after so long. I have recovered from my current obsessions for the moment, honestly it can just be anything really not just NTR, even though it's mainly that, it can cause me to feel compulsions for anime, movies, images and whatnot, it will feel like a problem but when it's gone I can just think of it without any problems that would make me feel like "why the hell was it so hard before?". It's totally unfair, and I don't know why I got it. I mean, I'm not an evil person so wouldn't it have been better for evildoers to get something like this? Why did it have to be me?
