After bringing the survivors to the guestroom, the short-haired woman called out and then turned to leave. Only then did the others snap back to reality, gazing at the guestroom before them, bewildered.
"What's going on with this place?"
The girl with twin-tailed hair and glasses seemed to have just regained her senses as she looked at the girl beside her in astonishment.
"Teacher, has Alice's illness really been cured?"
"Indeed, it has."
The female doctor reached out her hand, touching Alice's forehead and examining her condition.
"At least for now her body temperature is normal, and her consciousness is clear."
"I understand now!"
The twin-tailed girl clapped her hands in realization.
"I've seen it on TV, those theatrical religious organizations, they mix things like antipyretics into the water and let you drink it, then they deceive you by saying you're cured. If you feel unwell again, they'll say you aren't devout enough..."
