Finn walked through the school gates with his bag over his shoulder, spotting Nino and Adrien hanging out by the steps and heading over to say hello. The courtyard was completely buzzing. His Apex Instinct picked up the loud noise because lockers were slamming around the halls and kids kept complaining about the upcoming test. Adrien looked up and greeted Finn with a relaxed smile, glad to finally have some free time to talk, so Finn just offered a nod and chatted with his friends until the morning bell rang.
During afternoon gym class, the hot weather made everyone annoyed, and the coach lined up the class on the track for a sprint. Kim took off early, yelling insults at the kid running next to him, which caused his classmate to push hard to catch up until Finn could hear the frantic heartbeat spike. Right before the finish line, the kid tripped and wiped out face-first into the gravel. People laughed loudly. Kim crossed the line and celebrated his victory, pointing at the track, while the kid just sat there in the dirt, his face turning bright red from the embarrassment of being left behind. The rage coming off him was thick, and it served as the perfect lure.
Miles away, a dark window opened, and Hawk Moth let loose a purple butterfly.
The akuma cut through the air and went straight into the plastic gym whistle the kid was still clutching in his fist, sending black and purple smoke blowing across the track. When the smoke cleared, the student had transformed into a sleek, metallic villain styled like an aggressive track official, holding a massive, heavy iron starter pistol. He called himself The Disqualifier.
"it not over yet" he yelled, pointing the heavy barrel toward a nearby students but the shot missed hitting a a bench and a nearby squirrel.
He pulled the trigger, and instead of a bullet, the gun fired a loud, echoing bang accompanied by a flashing purple laser grid. The beam did not just damage the bench or squirrel it created a five-meter glowing red circular zone on the ground around the blast radius. Anything inside that red zone instantly froze in mid-air, its physical energy completely sapped as if its time had run out. It was a literal stop-motion field that penalized anyone who entered it, draining their stamina to zero.
Panic hit the courtyard, but Finn didn't wait around for the stampede. He used the rush of screaming kids to slip into the empty boys' locker room so he could finally move.
Outside, Ladybug and Cat Noir dropped from the trees getting out of hiding
we need to be careful with the blast radius, Cat!" Ladybug yelled, seeing the birds in the air freeze completely solid as they flew over the red energy zones.
"On it!" Cat Noir lunged sideways, extending his staff to strike from the side.
The Disqualifier didn't even aim carefully. He simply fired a shot directly at the pavement beneath Cat Noir's feet, instantly deploying a five meter penalty zone. The purple light flashed, catching Cat Noir's boot.
Cat Noir tried to leap back, swinging his staff in a wide arc to deflect any incoming energy, but the ground beneath him was already changing. He lunged forward again, attempting to close the distance and disarm the villain with a quick sweep to the legs, but his movements were too predictable. The Disqualifier simply tracked the metallic glint of the staff and adjusted his grip.
The purple light flashed, catching Cat Noir's boot. It was instant. Cat Noir choked on his breath as the color drained from his skin, his staff dropping to the floor. He collapsed onto his knees inside the red ring, completely paralyzed and shivering violently while his energy vanished into the zone. He couldn't move a single muscle, entirely disqualified from the fight.

"Cat!" Ladybug screamed, throwing her yo-yo to pull him back, but the villain was already raising the heavy iron pistol to fire a point-blank shot directly at him.
Inside the locker room, Finn pulled his focus together.
Axel, call of the alpha!
