Three photos flashed rapidly on the giant Virtual Screen.
The eyes of everyone and their Pet Beasts were gathered on it.
Before long, one of the photos disappeared. The remaining two froze and were enlarged side-by-side in the center of the screen.
"The championship and runner-up battle! The first pair of candidates for the round-robin tournament has been decided!" Nephthys announced passionately from the commentator's stand. "It's Candidate Lafeid! And Candidate Serana!"
The two frozen photos in the center of the screen were none other than Lafeid and Serana.
In an instant, the entire arena erupted into cheers, pushing the atmosphere to another peak.
"Lafeid! Lafeid!"
"Serana! Serana!"
"I didn't expect these two to compete first. When the list of candidates came out, I always thought their match would be the final one."
"What do you mean? Are you looking down on my God Qiao?"
