A few moments earlier…
Luna was busy helping her mother in the palace. The Otoan Palace was not a palace in the usual sense. Lana, ever the eccentric, had rebuilt her tower modeled after ancient structures. As such, it once again resembled a commercial building you would have found in a business district back then.
The capital itself had also been rebuilt, and it had that same ancient flair that collided in a mix with Oto's more traditional oriental style. Strangely enough, the two styles seemed to compliment each other more than Luna thought they should.
This was how she remembered things. Ever since she was a little girl, these were the kinds of sights she had known, the kind of ridiculous kingdom her mother had created.
And it was being destroyed before her very eyes for the second time.
"It is just like the war back then…" she muttered.
