It took them three hours to reach back to the Academy. On their way back they found many flying creatures in the sky. Some were at the first evolution while the others were at an unknown one.
Luckily they didn't engage with them for the ship have the option to go stealth. As long as you don't stare into the eyes of one of the creatures there is no way they would sense you inside the ship.
When they arrived a crowd of people gathered at the entrance of the Academy. People from poor to the upper classes stood around. Even the heads of the Ancient Families were there.
The ship opened and the children that amount to about forty came out. Some were shaken up, some had dead eyes while the others cried out with joy for escaping death.
Wei Xu stood in the middle of the students. He wasn't shaking, wasn't crying in joy and neither did he have dead eyes. It was as if what occurred at the forest was just a normal walk in the streets.
"Where's my child... my daughter. Where is my daughter?!" A woman came out of the crowd when she saw the principal.
"Y-yes! My son... he- he should... where is my son..?"
"My daughter! Where?!
"My son!"
The parents came out one by one and shouted asking questions of where their children were. Their eyes held a little bit of hope. Thinking their children are still alive.
When the busses entered the forest through the portal signals began ringing all around China.
When the people realized what happened they became apprehensive. Especially those parents whose children entered the portal, they were worried, stressed and terrified.
These parents didn't sleep for the entire duration of when their children entered the portal.
Seeing the gazes of these parents the principal let out a heart broken sigh, "Out of the five hundred students that went onto this trip. Only forty has managed to live."
The Prinicpal words were like a bomb to the parents. The little bit of hope they held diminished and they burst into tears and anger.
"YOU WERE SUPPOSE TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN!"
"YOU ACTUALLY DARE TO CALL YOURSELVES THE ANCIENT ACADEMY?!"
"FORTY OUT OF FIVE HUNDRED?! THIS ISNT EVEN QUARTER OF THE AMOUNT WHO WENT ON THE TRIP!"
The parents burst into shouts, although most of them were weak their voice still manage to shake the entire plaza, echoing the very Academy.
The Principal stood there accepting the parents complains. He held his head downward in shame and sadness. He really felt like he let down those students.
"Its not your fault." The Vice principal stood near the prinicpal, patting his back.

While the parents complain an voice that was neither loud nor soft spoke up, "I feel like the Ancient Academy has fallen." The person said and the crowd quiet down. The head of the Qishi Family. Wei Xu and Su Haixui father came out. His name is Su Junjie and his overbearing aura cause everyone to know his presences.
Su Junjie looked at Su Haixui with pride in his eyes. The report he got from Su Haixui Instructor made him very happy.
His vision then turned to Wei Xu only to see him also staring at him with those black eyes that were as deep as the abyss. Those eyes caused his overbearing aura to slightly grow.
"I agree with Head Su, although you were practically schemed against and they used a Teleport Bracelet, you shouldn't have fallen for such a trap." The Zhandou Gamily head who is actually a female declared.
"I believe the Ancient Academy needs to be demoted." The Zhaunjing Head said which shocked many. One must known the Zhaunjing Head hardly makes an appearance.
Over the past two hundred years the Zhaungjing Head has always remain in seclusion to the point that no one knows of his name, even his own blood.
All the Family Heads turned to him and gulped, 'We didn't even notice his presence.' They look at the Zhaunjing Head who have a red cloak over his head and the rest of his body which gave them a mysteriously scary feeling.
"Since the top three families have declared then I will also agree on this statement." The Dan Family Head also agreed, raising his hand to show his acknowledgement.
"I aswell."
"Same."
All the ten Ancient Families raised their hands in agreement. The parents seeing this cheered as they never thought a solution would be found so quickly.
"Then it is settled, we shall discuss this further some time later. Expect the Ancient Academy to be demoted in two days. They will also be unable to participate in the Young Talents Competition." The Zhandou Family Head said and walked away from the Academy.
The other Heads also walked away. Su Junjie told Su Haixui some words before leaving. Not even looking back at Wei Xu.
Soon after the other families and parents left after saying some harsh words.
The Academy went silent. Everyone remained quiet thinking over what to do now. For many years they have remain the Number one Academy but now they have been demoted and won't even be able to participate in the countries national competition? To make things worse they won't even be able to compete in the Global Competition.
The Principal grit his teeth. Never would he thought after living for two hundred years and developing the Academy to what it is now would it all fall in one day.
"Don't worry didn't you have a back up plan? We can fix this even if things become worse." The Vice Prinicpal once more pat the Prinicpal back with a smile.
"Haha, that's right." He smiled and lift his head to the sky, "I think its time to call those old geezers." His smile became wider and shameless with a scheming light in his eyes. All the negative emotions disappear from his being at that moment.

A month passed and a lot of things have changed. The Ancient Academy has been demoted to the top one thousand academies which caused an uproar in China. Due to this, many teachers, instructors and talented students leaved the Academy. The first year students who now only amount to forty also leave, leaving behind only five who choose to stay. Many Second years left as well but most of the third years choose to stay. No news came from the forth and fifth years.
In a classroom were ten people. Five sitting, five standing. Wei Xu stared at the other four students who choose to stay. Su Haixui, Feng Dongjang, Sun Yin Zi and Li Meirong. Their Instructors stood next to them and for some reason Feng Bengye is now Feng Dongjang instructor. Ofcourse, Su Mucheng is with Wei Xu.
"Good morning class." The door open revealing a little girl in a black suit. Her black hair tied in a pony tail and she wore glasses that made her look both cute and cold.
"Due to the circumstances we are going through, I the Vice Principal will be your teacher." This news made the four students excited as they will be taught by the Vice Principal herself. Something that never happens before.
"Before the lesson start I will like to introduce to you your new classmates."
